Depends on what tests the doctor ordered.

They test for whatever they want to. If you're getting an STD test, they will test for HIV, and maybe nothing else. Or they may test for HIV, Hepatitis A and B, syphillis, etc. They can test for anything but it usually costs more when they test for more diseases from the same sample.

If you're getting a blood test for another reason, then the test for whatever the test is run for.

Basically, I'm saying there is no standard blood test where they always test for the same things. It depends on the reason you're getting a blood test. It could also be for drugs, etc.

It can be for heaps of things, the Doctor may just want to rule
different things so he can pin point a problem, so he will send you for different kinds of blood test, and if i sat here and named all the things that they can send you for a blood test,
then i may be here all day. If you are unsure why the doctor sent you for a blood test you should ask him or her .

May god be with you and have a great day

You can mark it on a sheet (or rather your doctor). Like one provided by Quest Diagnostics. You can check things like
Glucose
Hepetitis ABC
HIV antibodies(not the virus itself)
Protein
White Blood cell count
Phosphorus
Potassium
Hemoglobin
Lead
Rubella
Sodium
Testosterone
Chloride
and many other naturally occuring blood features
You can also check for over a hundred pollutants or toxins
like DRUGS.

By the way. Parents sometimes secretly have doctors screen for blood which they can legally do with out telling you if you are an unemanicpated minor.

they have blood tests for millions of things. Why are you getting it? Is it for insurance? If so they test for cholesterol and how your organs are functioning and they look for blood problems with the cells themselves and they usually test for HIV and hep c and sometimes b and I've heard of them testing for STD's as well.

If its the cops it will be for the drug they think you are on or any drug in your system. If you are getting it done personally it is what you ask them to test for.
