General Health Care - November 2006

I already have a list of physicians from my insurance but I am looking for personal recommendations. I blindly picked our new dentist from the list and it was a disater! I had to switch to find a new one that was decent and I wasted time and money.

He was running a 103 fever yesterday, and today his testicle is really swelled up. We went to the er on halloween for the same symptoms and they said he was fine but by the time they looked at him (9hours later),st francias sucks!, he wasn't swelled up anymore. I've been trying to call his doctor's office but I can't get through. Does anyone know any reason for the swelling to be going and coming back with no injuries? Anyone know what to do?

I'm having surgery tomarrow ( not major ) just on my ankle, but I've never had surgery before, and I might have to wait in the surgical waiting room by myself!

I wait in the Lobby with Mom & Dad, then go to other room by myself, and go in by myself. I know they can't be in the area where they perform the surgery, but I'm SO scared tha I'm going to get hurt.

I know the Surgeon is a pro, and I'll be under Anestisia Omigod what if I don't wake up?!?!?! I don't want to have surgery :( :(

When I was younger I went to a day care. One of the ladies who worked there was trying to make me get up off the floor, but I didnt want to. I had kicked her right above her ankle. She called my momma and I got in trouble. Now when I see her around town, I see a dark mark on the same spot I kicked her. Did I do that or was it my fault?

I took Tylenol 3 two hours ago, its says to take every 4 hours. I have a horrible tooth ache and cant go to a dentist today. Is there anything I can take to get me through the next 2 hours when i can take tylenol 3 again?

I am supposed to start a new job this week, but last night while playing softball I took a 40 mile an hour ball to the forehead above my left eye. Today it is still swollen and my eyelids are purple and I have abrassions from the stiching on the ball. How can I make my appearnce less startling for my job, without running the risk of causing an infection in the abrassion?

Why would a fractured elbow require surgery. my doc wants to put a prosthesis in at the elbow but its a lil fracture and i think this sounds ridiculous. has anyone ever fractured there elbow and had surgery or elected not to ? is a prosthesis better in the long run? what if i elect not to will i be disabled somehow?

I broke a bone, it is on the side of my hand about a month ago. The doctor decided to put my whole hand in a splint. Today i got the splint taken off, and he showed me an X-Ray and i saw that the bone still has a little crack. It seemed to be in the right place, but i saw a small crack whereas i thought there wasnt going to be one. He said it is in the early stage of healing, and he cant keep me in the splint because otherwise my hand will become immobile. My question is if any of you know what the chances are of my bone healing, what i can do to help it grow faster or for it to properly heal,and finally, what happens if ithe crack doesnt mess together like im guessing its was supposed to( in two weeks) which is when im supposed to go visit him again, will i have to have surgery or what...
