No. The hymen is a very thin membrane and can tear from causes other than sexual relations.
However, if you are having sex, then you should tell your doctor so that he or she can arrange for HIV/AIDS and STD testing, plus talk to you about safe sex and birth control options.

Don't worry about what the doctor thinks! Trust me, they have seen it all.
Tampon useage, horseback riding, and other activities can tear the hymen as well. Plus, who cares if he thinks you are having sex. Patient confidentiality prevents him from telling anyone else and if you are having sex...they should know so they can test you for STDs or AIDS or just educate you on some stuff you probably need to know.
Doctors aren't judgemental, don't fear them. They are dedicating their lives to help you!

the hymen is that part that usually tears and bleeds slightly when you lose your virginity. so there are other things that can possibly cause it to tear

he might, but even if he does, there are privacy laws that prevent him from telling anybody - i don't think he can even tell your parents.
