If you're referring to the tape residue that is left behind once you peel the tape off, then yes baby oil works great. Just use it on a cotton ball and gently rub or massage the residue off. If you are trying to get the actual tape off, you could try baby oil on your finger or q-tip and gently rub it in while peeling the tape back. I mean like rub it onto the tape at the exact point where it meets the skin. I would not use alcohol as it will irritate your skin even more and I don't know about orange juice or whatever because of the citric acid which may burn.
Hope it works out!

Good Lord, don't listen to the folks telling you to use alcohol. You have an open wound! That's gonna burn!!!
I'm not really sure about the baby oil either. You don't want to mess up your healing process.
Use a bit of triple antibiotic ointment on there... like Neosporin. That way you'll lube it up, the tape will come off, but you won't be dumping anything hazardous into your still healing sutured area.

Okay, DO NOT use alcohol! Yep, it'll come off, but owwweeeee!! Try going to any drugstore- even WalMart- and talk to the pharmacist. There is actually a solution/wipes out there you can purchase which will get rid of the gunk comfortably. I just wish I could think of the name for you myself; sorry!

If you are on a budget, try using lotion or suntan oil, but don't get it in the incision. Mineral Oil works well.
