3 weeks ago i had my first Pelvic Exam. And it soo painful.
It was a really sharp pain, and i was in tears the whole time.

The good news is, the results came back normal.

But i have to go back for further tests. I am soo nervous about it all.

Has anyone else experienced this?? Can i take anything to help with the pain??

I looked in the mirror yesterday and had a large bump on my forehed. When I squeeze it clear liquid comes out. I am pretty sure its a cyst. This has happened to me twice before and it alsways clears up on its own. I am going out of town to meet my new inlaws and I need to know how to get rid of this ASAP. Now it is starting to look like a scab, Can anyone help please

Hi there, sometimes when I ask my wife a question that she kind of agrees with or has no real opinion, her mouths forms like an upside down semi-circle. Is this normal?

Please help!

I know it's a weird question, but thanksgiving is coming up, and I thought it would be nice to get together a list of why pain can be a good thing so I can look at it when I'm really hurting - you know, just to lift the spirits a bit.

I thought of two:
1) The more I feel pain, the less I fear death (I'm just not so scared of the pain associated with it as much).

2) It's wonderful to see how my husband cares for me as he does his best to take care of me and my daily tasks when I'm down.

I would love to have a much longer list - so please share.

I have severe knee pain when I sit, stand, walk up/down stairs. It starts at the top of the kneecap and shoots down to the very bottom of the knee. It is this huge pressure pain (probably fluid under the knee cap?) in both knees. One is worse than the other but to get up, or down or walk up or down I am having to grasp things. This has been going on for more than five years, getting worse over time. I've been to the doctor and are waiting for the results of an MRI to be faxed to my doc. Does anyone else suffer the same type of pain, and if so what were you diagnosed with?

I just woke up and something is really weird. I am not uncomfortable or cold and I feel fine but my body is cool to the touch. My clothes are cool and so is my bed, it isn't warm like when you have been sleeping in it, I don't seem to have any body heat. I can't detect my heart beating either. I know I'm alive but this is just so weird. I felt fine when I went to bed and feel ok now but my body isn't giving off any heat. What is wrong with me?

2 weeks ago I had saline breast implants. I was just in a pretty bad car accident last night (I am o.k. other than pain and one swollen breast).

My chest impacted the steering wheel along with other parts of my neck and head. I will be going to the surgeon shortly however he can't do much except play the waiting game (if there is a leak etc..).

I wanted to know if anyone else has been through a vehicle accident with saline implants and have you had long term side effects?
Thanks for your help.

For nearly a month now, I have been waking up really early (Sometimes about 4AM) and am often not able to fall back to sleep which leaves me feeling tired and miserable in the day.

Sleeping pills have helped but make me feel groggy and I don't want to get dependant on them.

Has anyone had sinilar experiences? Do you know what could be causing this?

I am male, 25 and do lots of exercise. I don't drink much.

I have no problem getting to sleep, just keep waking up really early.

I think doctors; they know too much and make me feel uncomfotable, although my own treatments have worked better than medicine from doctors on occasion.

I am about to undergo surgery for sleep apnea. Surgeon says the recovery period will be the "worst I have ever felt". Someone who had the surgery said it just like a "bad sore throat" and not too terrible. I would like to hear from others who have had the surgery, and whether they had any negative aftereffects. I would appreciate only serious replies. Thanks.

i work in a place where in need from time to time to wipe betacam tapes on a wipe machine, it is like a belt that moves from left to right, so we put the tapes on the belt and get wiped, i think they are wiped because of the strong magnit inside the machine, so is this bad for human body and cells?
