I had a mean doctor when I little. Then we moved when I was almost 16. My parents made to go an older man peditrician. I was mortified to go to him.I did not like an older man seeing me naked at that age. I also had a mean denist as a child, he told me he was going to take a look at my baby teeth, then popped one out!!!! UGH!
Recently, I turned down a job because I would have to have a physical. The company told me I had to have a drug test, no problem I understand that. But when I got to the clinic to give the urine sample, they told me I had to have a COMPLETE physical. I called the person who offered me the job, told him I did not appreciate the surprise physical from a strange doctor, and that I had changed my mind about the job. Not sure what they mean by a COMPLETE physical...but I did not stick around to find out. I accepted another job 2 days later, no physical

Mom's doc says the dependence thing isn't true, but friends of her with presumably the same problem, hear different things from their doctors.

Mom's on the oxygen 24/7 and is hoping to not have to be forever.

Help.

I've had a cough for about two weeks, already drank cough syrup but this won't go away. I basically want to know natural remedies that have taken your cough away.
Thanks!

I am 50 years old and fell on my hands, they are bruised between the thumb and first finger. I want them to get better as soon as possible. When I cut or open jars etc it does hurt. Should I avoid heavy work until they heal. Or will they heal regardless of what I do.

But lately i have noticed that my 3 year old is losing alot of hair and gaining lost of weight, in a week she has gained about 5-7 pounds and she cries easilyand even sleeps more. Does anyone know if this is really bad to her? The weird thing about it is that she hasn't been eating because of the same thing theres no money. We dont have Food stamps or medical because we are in a waiting list for 5 more months. We live in texas and the regular clinics charge about $45- $50 plus the medicine, which i can't afford i recently lost my job. Please give me more suggestions on what to do. The past few days my thumbs and a few of my fingers have been really swolen and painful to move. I can hardly move my thumbs and I dont know why. I have been tested for arthritis about 6 years ago or so when this first started to happen and the tests came back negative. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks.

My brother had a bad cough a few months ago and was given an albuterol inhaler by our doctor. Now, I have bronchitis, nothing is really working to stop the cough. It worked great for him, and I just found his inhaler.

It says "Two inhalations every four to six hours as necessary."

But, there's a "MicroChamber" attached to it, it says its for metered-dose inhalers.

Do you know if I'm supposed to fill the chamber, then inhale from it, or just inhale as I pump?

And, how many pumps should I use?

Thanks!

p.s. I know someone will say "don't use it unless it's prescribed for you!" I know I shouldn't, but nothing is working, I'm trying it.
