It will pass. If you can stay home, let the toxins in your body that are causing it run its course. Just drink water to replace the liquids so you don't get dehydrated.

If you need to go out then the best over the counter medication is Immodium. If its related to something you ate or stomach virus then it will pass. If it happens on a regular basis you definately want to get it checked out.

First, see a Doctor, if it is longer than a week. Second, do the BRAT diet, as my son had to do, as an infant and I had to do it, for serious diarrhea. B= Bananas, R= Rice, A= Applesauce, T= Toast. Plus, drink LOTS of WATER, bottled prefered, as your water could be affecting you. Plus, if needed, Imodium AD, as it helps with the pain and the diarrhea. But, PLEASE, make an appointment to see a Doctor, as they can run tests, and see if maybe you might have IBS, especially lots of stress, and what you eat and do during each day! If you take meds for another issue, that can cause it too! So much can cause it, but better to make sure it isn't anything serious in your body, like food poisoning, IBS, viruses, etc.

I hope you are feeling better, and that you do feel better, as I know how you feel, and I got it to feel better, after I ate more and was put on different meds from getting hit by a car, that affected my bowel movements. I am on Narcotics, that actually help to bind me, lol! But, I take it for severe pain in my back and nerve pain. Plus, I have mild IBS, and nerves make it worse, and with all the issues from getting hit by an SUV, I need surgery, and the insurance co., says no, and my Docs are fighting, and til then, I have other ways I can do it, and I have to think, as pain free is my goal, and than my nerves, will be OK!

Plus, if you have a lot going on in your life, some docs can give you a mild anti anxiety, that can work wonders on your bowel issues~

Lots of Luck and let us know what you decide! Many Hugs to Help you to do what you want to do!

First of all you one should know the cause ,and there is a lot of blah-blah-blah in here , then you can think of the remedy or the treatment , in the meantime take care correcting the dehydration caused by the diarrhea.

There is no cure for diarrhea.
this is a natural body response to evacuate a foreign substance the body thinks it is harming it.
causes
Bad food (Food poisoning)
Virus
bad bacteria ( 50 to70% of the contents is bacteria, needed for normal digestion)
allergic reaction.
Lactose intolerance, or intolerance to other foods

If it continues for more than a day seek medical attention, can cause serious dehydration, drink plenty of fluids, it will also help clear out you gut.

Using a SILVER spoon, scrape the flesh of an apple and eat as you scrape. A doctor used this on my son when even hospitalization had failed. After he was fed the scraped apple, he was cured. Remember, the spoon must be made of silver.
