It's normal for them to run a mild fever, but if your baby is running a high fever he/she might have a virus or bacterial infection. Doctors prefer you call them if your very young baby is running a high fever.

Babies do run a fever when teething, normally. However, you said a "high fever." How high? I would call your pediatrician for verification, and simple peace of mind. :)

Yes. My daughter always ran a fever when teething.

Fever is very common with teething children. As well as runny nose and irritability.

OMG, yes! they can have the runs too. There are alot of other things they can get from teething. rash, ect.
