I feel off the roof painting trim and cracked three ribs.And craked my foot. After cleaning my yard it is hard to breath and getting sharp pains on my side could I have hurt them again.i did it over a month ago and waited till i felt better to do more.

i had surgery about a month and a half ago. i had a constant IV on for about 3 days, in my left hand. the pain that i had from the time they took the IV out the last time, til now, has lessened but not gone away. there isn't really a noticible color difference in my skin from my other hand, but it is a little swollen. more than anything, when i touch it, it feels like there is a small (about 2.5 cm) rod in there. i know it couldnt possibly be something foreign, so i'm assuming it's just a small section of the vein that's swollen, but it just feels strange because the ends of the "rod" are so defined to the touch. i've been meaning to go to the doctor and ask, but i honestly just don't have the time. anyone have any ideas?

I thought doctors had to give you your personal medical file if you requested it. I went to a doctor and then decided I did not want to recieve my treatment from him. He wanted me to pay for orthotics up front when that is not necessary because my insurance pays 100%. I set up an appointment at another podietrist who doesnt do that. I want my x-rays from the first doc. so I wont have to get raidiated again for no reason. The rude receptionist said she would only give me copies for a fee, but not the original slides. Can they do that?

for mild to severe chronic pain. I have been using it as prescribed for a couple of years and just recently started upping my own dose. I'm up to about 700mg/ day and I'm getting scared. I hope that I can ween myself off of it. But then there is the pain....EEK, can anyone relate? I'm beginning to feel panicky!

HI I have cervical sprain in my neck and I have TMD(the disc is dis-located). I have been in Physical Therapy a few times to treat the muscles and pain I have had from these ailments. This has been going on for about 9 years and I have been able to keep it under control with mouth guards and occasional PT. But this time I feel that I need to try something new and hopefully get rid of the pain I have been feeling.
Does anyone have any advice on a specific doctor to see?

My mom took 5 of my Paxil and has been throwing up for 2 days, nauseous, shaking fainting. I think she took more last night (after I cleverly hid them) but she wont admit it. The problem is Im in trouble at work for being out sick so many times. They say if I miss one more day Im fired. But should I drive my mom to the hospital anyway? I am really not sure if they are broken or bruised. They don't hurt when I take in air and not to much when I cough but they do hurt when i touch them or put pressure on them.

Do you usually do a nice firm solid or are they usually a bit squelchy and stick to the back of the bowl a bit?
The reason I ask is because I dont seem to do the one piece solid very often. Im not talking about diarrhea here just that it sometimes has the appearence of brown mashed potato.

When going on holiday did you put you child back into nappies if having problems toilet training, my girl is 4 and having accidents 3 times a day, friend advised putting her back into nappies for holiday, which would help, how do i convince her this is ok, anyone else had this problem. Did you get bad stares off people for being bad parent etc.

It's driving me crazy. In my right shoulder blade is this constant stabbing pain, and sometimes it'll get so intense that I can't really breathe. Like, if I inhale too deeply, it'll shoot pain all down my back, my side, my ribcage, and my chest. I know I should probably go to the doctor... But Yahoo Answers is cheaper.

I have frequent headaches usually towards the end of the day and at night. Regular pain killers (like tylenol don't do anything). What I feel is blood pulsating very strongly usually on the left side of my forehead. And it hurts more on that side. Do you know what can cause that? What can I do about it?
