It's driving me crazy. In my right shoulder blade is this constant stabbing pain, and sometimes it'll get so intense that I can't really breathe. Like, if I inhale too deeply, it'll shoot pain all down my back, my side, my ribcage, and my chest. I know I should probably go to the doctor... But Yahoo Answers is cheaper.

Haha... yes, I realize that "Yahoo Answers" probably isn't the best place for medical advice, but I need to see if this is an actual problem that money can be spent on. I'm a poor girl.

Here is some high quality yahoo answers medical advice:

I think you have Moon Pecker-roo. It's the way the pain shoots that's the dead giveaway.

Try some Dr. Newt's White Root Oil,
It's good for what ails you.

The problem with yahoo answers is that we can't press on your shoulder and arm and neck. There are some MAJOR limitations here. So we might be cheap but we are also not good... lol So you do need to go to the doctor.

So to make the most of your doctor's visit. here are some things to note.

1. how long have you had the pain?
2. How would you describe it?
3. Where is it?
4. How long does it last?
5. Is it affected by activity?
6. On a scale from 0-10 how much pain are you having now? At it's worse?(0=none and 10=worst possible)
7. When is your pain the worse? morning, afternoon, evening?
8. Anything else you can think of... ie: any known trauma, car accident, etc.

This information will help your doctor diagnose and treat your pain. Good luck

You are going to need the docotr whether we are cheaper here or not. It could be a problem with your rotater cuff which helps the shoulder together or you could have apulled muscle. Or it could be a problem with the neck and it is radiating. I have neck and shoulder pain and have bveen threough most of these tests for diagnosis. I have 3 hernisted discs in ,my neck and as I type I am in bad pain It spread into my upper back and shoulders. I also have a shoulder that pops and have not founf the reasonfor it but it hurts plrnty good alot f the time. So do what you know yu should and go see the doctor. best of luck

probably a pinched nerve. it is an excruciating pain that needs mega drugs to go away. See a chiropractor.

Go to a chiropractor. You may have slept on your shoulder wrong or twisted your spine wrong and moved it out of alignment.

Have a great day!!!
