ALL medications come with some sort of side effect. just check with your doctor. when i took lamisil, my doc tested my liver levels through blood work & 3 weeks after i started the medication, he re-tested to see if there was any damage occurring. Side effects are always possible, not always likely.

I took this for a while this past year. The person who mentions liver damage is right it is a risk but your doctor will probably want to monitor you to make sure damage is not occurring. I had a blood test the day he prescribed the medication and I came back once a month until I finished and then had one at the end. My tests were all normal so no liver damage. Aside from that they mention in the side effects warnings that you can have temporary loss of taste and some stomach discomfort. What I noticed was that if I took the medicine during the day about an hour or so afterward I could actually taste the medicine in my mouth. I didn't like that so I started taking the medicine before bed so I'd be asleep and not have to pay attention to that. It did give me heartburn though at night so have the mylanta or whatever ready. And by stomach problems they may mean sudden urge to have diarrhea, so you may want to think about that before planning to say walk 3 miles with no bathroom in site.
That may all sound like it sucks but not all that will necessarily happen to you they are just possibilities but in the end my toenails are now fine!

Mild to severe liver damage. There are natural ways to cure this.Ask your doctor if you can take caprylic acid. It helps with fungus and yeast, naturally and does NOT damage the liver.

now THERES a fair exchange.
