Hello, Many things can cause you to be bloated.
Is it your time of the month?
Have you been eating too much?
You may have an allergy to certain foods, pasta, potatoes etc.
You may also have IBS.
If you are really worried talk to your doctor.
Wishing you well

It might be your posture. Is your hip tilted leaving a big inward curve on your lower back and a pot belly at the front? You may need some exercises that strengthen the lower back muscles and the abdominal muscles. You could also have some water retention caused by a weak digestion, such as a 'leaky gut' syndrome whereby the all the fluids accumulate in your tissues in the area. You could also have poor circulation and poor lymphatic drainage around the area so excess fluid doesn't get shifted that easy. Are you also 'slow' or 'down' or just 'not with it'? Then you could suffer from depression. Whatever you do, don't cut important nutrients out of your diet, believe me if you really had a food allergy like milk or wheat you would know about it!!! I mean you would be so sick. So don't start cutting things out of your diet because that'll do nothing.

This could be a number of problems, from water retention to IBS. Products such as Charcoal or peppermint (capsules or tea) can help to absorb the excess gas that can build up. These can be found in any health food shop. And reduce the bloating. Hope this helps.

It could be anything from trapped wind, irritable bowel syndrome, allergies or food sensitivities, or even inflammatory bowel disease (like I have). It maybe something such as water retention, are your periods due? Are you constipated, or regular? To rule out all the above and to identify the problem take a visit to see your GP. You could try fybogel sachets or a tablet from over the counter called IBS Mebeverine after you have checked with your GP. Hope this helps.

Try to cut out wheat and dairy out of your diet as much as possible Although I was cynical about this in the beginning, after a week or two I felt much better and my stomach definately reduced in size. Also give up fizzy drinks and sugar - not needed and will bloat you

Have you had a pap test? Sometimes bloating can be a sign of ovarian cancer, go to a Dr and get checked out. It could be gas, a hiatal hernia, or a number of other things.

Probably IBS if it comes and goes.Monitor what you eat if your stomach swells after eating pasta it could be wheat based etc, go to the doctor for advise on diet or ask him to refer you to a dietitian. Its worth going just in case it is something else that can be treated if caugth in time.My daughter had swollen stomach which turned out to be ovarian cysts.Nothing to worry about but they do keep an eye on her also she had to change her contraceptive.

Stay away from milk and dairy products and see what that does. Dont eat fatty foods, dont drink carbonated drinks. Try some things, and do it for a few days, cuz itll take time to see what it is. Write down what youre eating each day, and then go back and write down what you felt like that day.
