My daughter told me 2 days ago that one of her best friends was HIV Positive. The person is only 27 years old. Now he is being shunned from his family because of how he got the virus, lives in the South and now wants to move North because my daughter and I are here. My daughter is so hurt about her friend and is willing to stand by him. I knew him before my daughter did therefore I to am standing by him. It's just that I think, He's only 27! It's heartbreaking. If you had gotten this disease from a broken condom, by accident or some other way such as a blood transfusion, what would you do?

He claims he was a virgin and that i'm his first and i've had 2 sexual partners. He's getting extremely upset with me and telling me that i'm accusing him of having HIV. He said he took a test 5 years ago for it before he came to the U.S. and is upset with me that i won't take his word. I've tried to have him take this test even when i didn't know what my results were and he refused then and even now. What should i do?

Hey! I have a serious question. My best friend is having some major pain in her stomach lately. . .she is also noticing that some red spots have popped up on her private area. She has been blood tested and had a culture and everything has come back clear. But she was also told that you can have Herpes and it not be found in the blood stream and you may not know you have it until you have an outbreak. Could the pains in here stomach every so often be a sign?

I first got chlamydia by my first boyfriend, but I didn't find out about it until I was with my current(second) boyfreind. We both got tested and his test came back negative but mine came back positive. I got treated for it immideately and got a second test done some time later which came back negative, but now Im pregnant by my current boyfriend of two years and was told that I have it again. I haven't slept with anyone else but my current boyfriend and he tested negative for it again, so how did this happen?

I have HPV virus for the past 6 months , I removed the wart but still I have pain and burning sensation in my vagina ,, my doctor says you have to just learn to live with it. I am so sensetive down there , I cant even have intercourse .. any kind of medicine that can inactive the virus .. I went to several doctors and they all say since it is a virus there is nothing they can do .. I know there is no medicine to kill the virus but anything to ease the burning ..

I have just had a hiv test done, as I found out my boyfriend had been sleeping around behind my back. It is not due back for another 2 weeks. I read on a previous question today that some early symptoms could be white headed spots. I got these spots 4 weeks after I slept with my boyfriend.(ex now of course). They burst but were painful and took a few weeks for the red mark to go away. I had one on my tummy, one on my arm and another two on my inner thigh. They came pretty much at the same time and I havent had any since.( none in the genital area) Is it true that you can get these spots weeks within contracting the disease? Have you ever heard of this before. The girl that asked the question had not had a test done and thought this might be a symptom. My tests for everything else has come back clear so it is not down to any other std. Can somebody please answer this. Im so scared at this moment. Thanks

I had chlamydia and was diagnosed at the GUM clinic. I took the antibiotics and completed the course exactly as I was told to. After about 3 weeks I am having very similar symptons to those I had before diagnosis. I have not had sex in beween now & then so can not have contracted it again. Is it possible the antibiotics did not work? Can I go to my regular GP about this or do I have to go back to the GUM clinic?
