ok so ive heard taht hpv can become dorment but ive been with my bf of 1 year and i recently found out i had hpv and it didnt show up the first time.

i asked him how do i have it all of a sudden now did u cheat on me he said no he didnt he didnt know he had hpv. apparently there are no tests for men. anyway i asked my gyno and he said no it stays dorment most likely he didnt cheat on u its very common that people assume this.

I was infected with chlamydia by my girlfriend a year ago. I received treatment, got cured, but she did not. Then I had unprotected sex with her again because I thought she was cured. After I found out she had not had treatment, I went to the clinic to get another std test. While I was there, I told the doctor my situation and she just gave me another bottle of medecine without waiting on my results to come back. So, I took the medecine (which were some pills I had to take for 7 days) and I thought I was fine. It has been 9 months since my second treatment and I think I'm feeling minor chlamydia symptoms again! It doesnt make since because I havn't had unprotected sex since my ex-girlfriend (9 months ago). Is it a possibility that I'm still infected from my ex-girlfriend?? and that I was given treatment too early??

When I went for the test they said approx 2 weeks. Is this a bad sign? The receptionist said she'd chase it up and that they're just really busy- but I fear they're re-testing. Anyone know?

My best friend thinks he has gonorrhea and he is going to the doctors soon to be tested. He is coming to visit tomorrow and we are just friend not intimate at all but we share drinks like he always takes a sip of my coffee or beer whatever it is..is it possible for me to catch whatever he has through saliva? any advice greatly appreciated

I dont understand it. My friend has had sex with over 50 guys and they NEVER wanted to wear a condom. Not once. Me, on the other hand, i made my husband and I (boyfriend at the time) go to the clinic to get tested first before i decided to be safe). I aint dieing for sex. Y dont people ever care anymore?

This is my first time posting a question. A year ago I had an incident with a female where I fingered her and sucked on her breast for about 4-5 min’s. We didn’t have sex. I’m not sure if I washed my hands after the incident though. Could it be possible I wiped my hands on my face or eyes and got HIV that way? She didn’t bleed, just cummed I believe. I’m still a virgin, don’t use needles. I do master bate daily however. Recently I’ve been getting really bad headaches and with these headaches I feel lightheaded. My left arm was lighter than my right arm, and my face keeps keep’s feeling sort of lighter than it usually does. I also have a stuffy nose and a warm head when the headaches come on. I can’t tell if I have a swollen lymph gland on my armpit or is it just excess fat. I don’t have a rash, unusual weight loss and night sweats. Could the symptoms I’ve been describing be because of HIV or sinus infection? I don’t want to tell my parents because they might think of me differently.

August 31 I had protected sex 2-3 weeks after sex i started to get this umcomfortness in my penis and it had a lsight burning it didnt burn when i peed and my pelvic was sore but tese symtoms are gone now. In late September i started to feel sick my throat,and under my jaw was really sore, i didnt have a fever,headache or anything i recall. And in mid to late October my underarms became really sore and they still are sore today but sometimes they arent and now my tongue feels like grimmy, and feels like weird and nasty and its been going on fo like 2 days but nothing is on my tongue . about a month and a half ago a bump started to appear on m penis, it seems to be a wart. At the time i thought it might have been acne or something like that but now it hasn't gone away and looks like a wart. I had sex once but it was with someone else who was a virgin, for sure, and i don't know if that was the cause or not. Is it possible for warts to be passed on to your penis from somewhere else, say maybe a hand?

Hey, I've had Herpes since 1992 which I picked up in Hawaii on my way to Gulf War 1, It was a one night stand....and yes I used protection.

Anyways, its 2006 and I have hidden my STD from friends and family, with exception of a handfull of dates from various STD dating sites.

Its been tough all these years not being able to date and having to give freinds and family excuses for still being single...etc. Needless to say I have never passed on the disease, as I would feel less then a man.

The depression just keeps adding on as I am now a good 80lbs overweight. When you don't feel attractive inside....you tend to not care about the outside....

This being said, I'm not feeling sorry for myself, whats done is done and I have to continue on....

What would you do if you were in my shoes?

i gotten chlamydia in november"05" and got cured in july"06" but around the end of may i had a swollen lymph on my upper right thigh.....is dat an late chlamydia symptom? or HIV? i heard dat happens to people who untreated chlamydia but i also heard dats an HIV symptom...i had the swollen lymph for 3 or 4 weeks but after the second week i was drinkin alot of water and cranberry juice and it went away but i also heard dat the HIV symptom last from a week to a month.....i got a blood and urine test for life insurance in july and was un-insurable...i dont kno if its bcuz they found weed in my urine or HIV.....i took it again 2 weeks later after i took a "flush" a couple hours b4 and i got the chlamydia cure an hour b4 and havent heard no bad news from them but they say dat they will contact u if u have HIV/AIDS............should i be this paranoid??? wut do u think?????

I've had serious pain in my prostate area for almost three months now. Sometimes it's pretty centralized in my groin area, and other times it feels like it has moved down into my inner thigh area. This started not too long after I had a pretty serious urinary tract infection. Other than the "prostate" pain, I also have "hot flashes" in my pubic region. Feels like I'm sweating, but there's no moisture. Also, there is sometimes a prickly feeling in or around my urethra! There is no discharge that I can tell. Good grief!!!

I went to my physician. My prostate is enlarged (3 on a 10 scale). He said it sounded like a prostate infection, and prescribed antibiotics. I've taken three weeks worth of doxycycline and two weeks of cipro. It hasn't made much if any difference.

The "prostate" pain is much worse if I do a lot of sitting. If I'm up moving around a lot or lying down, the pain lessens after a while (like by the next day).

My partner (f) got an STD screen and was negative. Now what?
