I tell my friend he can, especially if he has a cut. But not too sure about herpes and warts and stuff. Is there a safe way of doing this other than not to do it?

An STD will pass through any open wound or in blood to blood contact. STD's will also transfer from any secretion (juice) a woman leaves in a man's mouth. You can try wearing a condom on your tongue but that won't stop any entry to cuts wounds or cavities inside your mouth.
Think of this; If woman has an STD and she wants you to perform oral on her, is she worth having anyway? Does she really care about your health or just her happiness?
For 10 minutes pleasure, is it worth the pain? Think about that carefully.
This may amount to perhaps a lifetime of pain?
I wouldn't go near her!!!! Choose wisely because this may well be the last choice you ever make.

If the person performing oral sex has a cold sore on their mouth/lips they can give the other person genital herpes. Cold sores are caused by the herpes virus. Abstain from performing oral sex when you have a cold sore--the virus is highly contagious when sores are present.
