Not if the only have sex with each other exclusively. To contract HIV a person has to have unprotected sex with someone who carries the virus - even then it is not automatic (but the risk is far too high to chance.) There are other ways of contracting the virus all to do with coming into contact with blood products such as sharing needles. The virus cannot spontaneously appear though.

Condoms are 98% effective> But I personally would not have sex with someone I know has HIV. besides the fact I probably would not be able to get it out of my head and not be able to get into the sex. Condoms can and do break on occasion. HIV is a very serious thing be careful!

A male has a better chance than a female. It is possible however, but not a good idea. Why put your life on the line. It is a very expensive disease to get. You can live, but the quality goes way down.

Yes. In the case of Magic Johnson; his wife Cookie and their 3 children (born after he knew he was HIV positive) have not contracted the AIDS virus.

However, it is a huge risk you take if you have unprotected sex with someone you know is HIV positive and the odds are against you.

Yes, but it is still a huge risk. And it may take a while for the virus to take hold in your system. I think you have to keep testing for several years before you can be declared safe. Run far and fast from anyone who has Aids and wants to have intercourse, unless you want to live with the possibility of getting it yourself.

If you use protection, then you won't contract it. But if you want to die in the next 10 years or so, then by all means go ahead. But don't be stupid enough to realise the repercussions of your actions and what it may lead to. Be smarter than that!!! USE A CONDOM!

If you make the other person use protection, then yea, you'd be safe from the disease. But I wouldnt risk it. Good luck.
