Skin Conditions - March 2007

Whenever i play golf, i get a water blister on my thumb of my right hand. i know its not supposed to be there beacuse i cant put too much presser on my right hand..(i'm right handed)..but somehow its gets there. I tried poping, but afterwords it really starts to hurt when you touch it (especially cuz its on my right hand thumb) and it looks NASTY. I was wondering if there are any things i could try to avoid getting a water blister..or how to get rid of it without the pain and the nasty scar. Thanks!

i feel these are not pimples as they are too small and they are not red in colour.a few days before i applied colgate on it but i coulnot find satisfactory results.during winters they are too unrecognisable but during summers it gets worst.
i am 15 years old and have almost dry skin but its oily during summer.
now i have only 1 week to control my pores as after that my schools are opening.
please give me some homemade remedies.........................

I have the kind between the toes and a kind that looks like dry, cracked skin on my heels, also there is an itching just behind the balls of my feet. I know about keeping feet dry and clean and about antifungal creams from the doctor, but would like to know more alternatives.

I'm 19, male, slender build. At times, it seems that when my body tempuature rises, I have these unbearable itching attacks. It feels like my skin is being stabbed by thousands of tiny needles all over. It causes me to have to itch uncontrollably, and my skin will turn beat red just from even running my hand over it, not even itching it. These attacks differ in severity, and usually only last about 20 mintues before going away. When I have a bad attack though, I get these raised bumps all over my skin which can stay for up to an hour after the itching is gone. I went to a doctor, but they didn't seem to take me seriously and made no effort to find out what the cause of the problem is. Has anyone had anything similar or know what it could be? I don't believe it's an allergy, because these attacks can come just from even being in clean hot water.

well i heard shea butter helps for skin problems especially for acne knowing puberty makes my face oily. also i heard aloe vera helps too. wher can i get shea butter and im not sure what type to get for aloe vera like aloe vera oil (lotion, etc.)
anywher but the internet like gorcery or pharmacy shops.

My daughter has lice for the second time in a month. I have tried lice medicine from the store, and have also tried olive oil, vinegar, and tea tree oil. I am running out of ideas. She doesn't have any more bugs that I see, but the eggs are stuck on there. I have long nails, so it's hard to pull them out, and the combs don't work very well either.

I'm a african american male that need treatment asap. Well I was in the kitchen and it was hot water boiling on the stove. I was trying to remove it off the stove while the water was extremely hot. the outbreak is only at the lower jaw facial area. Numerous kind of creams have been applied but to no avail. Is it much worse than just normal outbreak or is it because of some internal body impurities or hormones in- balance? Stress? dirty blood? Btw, i'm asking on behalf of my girlfriend.

i'm a teachers aide and a child had ringworm 2 weeks ago and the teacher told me its ok and they can still be in school as long as they are covered. well, he had them on his neck and lower arm, he had a few of them. most were covered with band-aides but who knows how long he had them. now i have a ringworm and im upset better said MAD at the school nurse for letting this kid continue to attend school.
