Don't be scared! It's all right. You may indeed have gotten the herpes virus from your boyfriend, but you may not have, or you may have got something else. Maybe your boyfriend had a bacterial skin infection that he passed along to you, or maybe you're just having an unusual breakout. You should see a dermatologist or your main doctor to have her/him diagnose you. Until you can see your doctor, try using Abreva. If that is a herpes sore (cold sore), this is the only over-the-counter way to prevent the virus from replicating and the cold sore from getting larger. It will also help with pain, buring, or itching you may feel. Many people are prone to this type of viral blister and treat it perfectly well with Abreva or prescription medicines. You may have seen the commercials---usually you don't even need more than a tingle to treat it, and it doesn't even erupt into anything visible. So don't be scared about the future even if you did get that virus from him.
Above all, try not to worry and stress out to much. Stress can make cold sores worse, and if you actually don't have them and are just having some kind of a breakout, stress could only make that worse as well. You'll be all right no matter what, and these sores on your lips DO NOT mean you will get genital herpes. Just don't share any more germs or skin contact with your boyfriend until you find out what this is.
Good luck to you, I wish you all the best, and remember, don't worry! :)

I got identified with herpes (type 2) about 4 yrs ago, when I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I realize loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/PpbYK everything improved.
Not only was I able to eliminate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

First you should go to a doctor and he/she can tell you what's going on and how to treat it. Next time make sure there is noting visible on that person lips before u kiss them. And sometime u can't tell by looking so just be careful.

Sounds like oral herpes which can be spread from genital herpes and oral sex. That is the only way you can get oral herpes, by kissing someone with it or having oral sex with them. Don't let him tell you he drank from someones straw who had it because in order for it to live it has to be in a warm wet place. Sorry, there is no way to ever get rid of it. Go to your doc and if you are sexually active with him go to the ob now so you can get medicine. If it is caught in the early stages of development medicine can slow the growth and number and severity of breakouts.
PS: Just because you can't see i doesn't meant it isn't there!

Sounds like you may have Herpes type 1.
The sores wont be *on* your lips though. If they are coldsores/herpes, they appear right on your lip line.
