i'm a teachers aide and a child had ringworm 2 weeks ago and the teacher told me its ok and they can still be in school as long as they are covered. well, he had them on his neck and lower arm, he had a few of them. most were covered with band-aides but who knows how long he had them. now i have a ringworm and im upset better said MAD at the school nurse for letting this kid continue to attend school. Who should i talk to about this the school nurse or the principal?

In our district they are NOT allowed in school until they have been to a physician and recieved treatment for it. As you found out its highly contagious. Also the other parents should be alerted. Where is this nurse's head. If you have already talked to the nurse then go to the principle. This just doesn't make sense.

no you should not be aloud at shcool or high shcool with ring worms .............Because there can be spread to the other people then the whole shcool will have them so talk to the principal and the nurse and tell them that it is a risk to take when someone has ring worms and should not be aloud at shcool.....And if there dont leasn to you tell them that will go hirer to some one eles like a doctor? i hope that what i have said to you can help you .see you later by alexander petty it would be good to hear from you about how you go good by...
