I woke up with a bump above my eyebrow about the size of a half dollar and my dotor told me it was a cold sore {i know its werid}. what can i do to help it heal

I heard that if you get water and add 2 table spoons of salt and get cotton dip it into the salty water and apply it over your pimples for sometime your pimples will go away is this true? Please share past experiences

dry peeling skin in rectul area,(in crack area& scrotum area were raw) no itching or burning. red raw skin on bottom of scrotum, (just on bottom of testicles) some days dry&itchy, some times it's moist and burns& burns the inside of thighs were scrotum touches& when moist it loohs like i have red scrathes in area just small little lesions & just in that area. ( also on foreskin were not circumsised sometimes & have a red spot were skin and penis attach) these don't hurt might itch occasionly. itchy &dry above penis in hair area but not all the time just ocassionly. Back of my knees are always red & kind of swollen & irratble.(don't know if associated but started same time) sometimes i have red itchy bumps on legs (was first symptons i think ) but don't have them very often now. no other areas affected.

I have these brown depressions on my arm. They are distinctly noticeable, and are depressions into my skin (kind of like holes, but not really). When I poke the general area with a toothpick, I don't feel anything, when I poke any other area on my arm not part ofmthe brown spots, I feel something. What are these?

my face gets so dry after i shower.. to the point of feeling like something is pulling on the skin around the mouth and the nose.. and at the bottom of the nose it really hurts... then it peals... i have to put mosturizer all the time, and i really hate it, cause after showering or washing my face, i want to feel clean and not all oily... i bought a new soap "Dove" with 1/3 oils in it, and it's a bit better, but i still feel the skin get very tight..
My body is however perfect--not oily nor dry... why not the same for the face???? :(
will appreciate any help!! thanks

I'm off to Vegas in 3 days. I didn't have time to lay in a tanning bed and I hate those spray tans. I haven't tried them, but my sister in law had a bad experience. Is there anything you've tried that you found gave you a great base tan in 3 days? I have fair skin but tan quickly and beautifully. Thanks for your responses! ;-)

Ok so I was fishing all day yesterday (Sunday) and got sunburned on my legs, arms, and neck/collar bone. How to get the pain and even the redness gone quickly. I have been using aloe and I am hoping to be able to get it gone by the weekend.

I had it pierced over 2 yrs and i took it out for a new job. A few days later this blackish mark appeared and it wont go away. I've went to a dermatologist and a piercer but they have never seen anything like it. It doesn't hurt and if i stick a needle in it nothing comes out. I dont know what else to do. Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this? Please help me!

i have the feeling that it is caused by my pillow( although it is a new one) and i change the pillowcase every week
nevertheless i get the feeling that it is caused because of th fact that my face is in constant touch with the pillow( as i sleep on my side)
Can my theory be correct?Or iis it only my idea?

I used Drysol like once and it burned so badly. My dermotologist told me that it hurts because that I shave and that will make the Drysol more painful. Will the burning pain go away after a while or will the burning occur whenever I use it??

I am looking for a skin regime that you can use daily. It has to be 100% pure and gentle for your skin. It has to help fight 100% acne, blackheads, breakouts, sensitive skin, and oily skin. I need a system that gets rid of unclean skin and shows results no later than thirty days. I am not looking for name brands that are selling on t.v. or the over the counter medicine. I am looking for a acne treatment that is proven to work and nothing that has to do with pharmecticual ingriedents.

My dermatologist took me off amoxicillin a few weeks ago and I haven't has any break-outs, but I have noticed that my skin is a lot more oily. I need some suggestions on goos fash wash products to use. I need something that is not too harsh because I am still on a lot of topical meds. I need something simple, but something that still works! By the way, I am currently using CETAPHIL so please don't tell me to use that. THANKS!

if its cold in the room or im just cold, i get these white dots on my legs! its weird! after i rub them for awhile or something, then they will go away. what is this? and how can i prevent it?
