OK I WAS TAKING BIRTH CONTROL PILLS FOR MY ACNE AND IT WORKED I STOPPED TAKING THEM AFTER A WHILE AND MY FACE FLARED UP WITH ZITS. IS THE REASON FOR ME BREAKING OUT B/C I STOPPED TAKING THE PILLS?

My wife is attracted to my goatee, so I grow it out for her. After about 3 months or so with my beard, I get a rash that itches and flakes like dandruff. My wife bought this girly pore cleanser stuff, and when I put that on it stops the itching for a few days, but it comes back. I shave the beard and the rash goes away. This started about a year ago and happens everytime I grow my beard out. Whats wrong with me?

Why is it that everytime I take a shower, when I come out, dry myself and either go to sleep or get dress. My skin(especially my arms and legs) gets very ashy and dry? It doesn't look and feel comfortable.

What can I do to prevent that? My friends do the same thing, and they don't even put on lotion, yet their skin is smoother and doesn't dry up. I don't take HOT showers, but I don't take cold showers either. I put it in the middle.

I'm a male, 17 years old.

Also, it's not just reserved to jewelry, if the metal zipper on a shirt has no inside lining I also get a rash from it. I can only wear gold, and some silver, which is annoying because I don't want to spend a fortune on jewelry, and if I could wear metal, I would. Anyway, I was wondering why metal causes my skin to react this way. Is there a way I could still wear metal without getting a rash? Also, is there any metalic-looking jewelry that would not cause this reaction?

It is on the nail, but close to the cuticle. When you push down on it it is soft and squishy. It doesn't hurt, but I don't understand why there is an air bubble in the nail. Why did that happen? Is it an air bubble?

the, I think it's a white blotch in the middle of my eye, or eyes, but it blocks out what I am trying to read, and I find myself trying to read over the center blotch.

i had a allergic reaction to this wax i used as moisteriser by mistake i misstaked it for the mosisteriser now my face is red and looks real bad i tryed total effects and that worked once but never works anymore iv tryed putting it in cold water and hot water face wash isnt working and i went to the doctor to see what they said they said it was rocersa or something and gave me a cream but that didnt make a diffrence so anyone know whats going on or a cure or something i really want my old skin and im a guy so i cant wear make up or anything please

i have really dry skin and get these annoying red bumps on my back and arms. there not like pimples just red dots(im really pale) i read where people have used head and shoulders to treat acne and ive used it for about a week now with much improvement.i was just wondering if its safe to use as a body wash daily.

Ok so it is really important that i look my best tomarrow..i just recently got a little bit of acne that was really red and made my face look bad so i went tanning today..tanned my skin a bit, not a lot. i want to keep this tan..so im moisturizing my skin a lot but i also want to get rid of some of this acne so im using a lot of acne products..would this stuff mess up my tan and i plan on leaving some sort of mask on my face over night..would this make my tan fade more? also, besides moisturzing your skin, what are some other things you can do to make tans last longer?

Will using anti ageing creams when you’re younger effect your skin in a negative way when you’re older?

I am 24, but I have very deep wrinkles (no, not laugh lines etc – WRINKLES) that really reeeeally bother me. I want to start using a cream for them but I am concerned. Please help.

it really hurts and takes forever to heal. any suggestions? im refuse to go to a dermatologist bc it takes 6 weeks to get into one and then they only spend 5 minutes with you and dont really treat the problem.

Everyday i put on deoderant/anti-persperant. and everyday by third hour i have huge pit marks in my shirt, i can't make it stop and i'm not even that hot i just sweat horribly, and it leaves very visable marks. it doesn't smell or anything but it's just over obvious.

Does anyone know of specific products or routines that can cure or lessen this effect?
does anyone else experience this or know why it's so bad?

If you get a rash from something you're allergic to, and you stop using the product you think you're allergic to, does the rash go away immediately? or does it take a few days?

i stopped using this product last wednesday when i first noticed the rash, and now it's monday and the rash is still there and still itchy. will it take a few more days for the rash to go away or should it be gone already?

i went to a derm 4 years straight. my acne just got worse and more irritated. i went through practically everything on the market (lots of antibiotics, creams, birth control). yes i did use proactiv and acnefree before.i even did glycolic peels and a photodynamic therapy once. after doing that photodynamic therapy once, my oily skin became extremely dry, red, and flaky. i stopped seeing a derm 5 months ago and didnt use any thing except cetaphil on my skin. my skin didnt change.

anyway, point being, i accepted my acne. two derms said i could only take accutane or that laser as my only options left. there is no way i am going to risk my health (accutane) for a petty thing like acne. i went to a facialist two days ago and they gave my creams which has greatly helped my skin with dryness. my dad however, said my skin hasnt improved and if it doesnt get better in one week, he is going to call up the derm. he said i cannot accept my acne.

i dont want to go back to a derm.

Ok, I've had it for as long as I can remember but I just have noticed that it has gotten a little bit bigger and is quite visible. It doesn't hurt and feels like bone. Or something hard. It's located behind my ear, on the side of my head, close to my hair line. I was wondering if anyone else knows about this or what it's called..I was researching it and couldn't find anything. I think I might of heard of them..maybe, I think they might be caused by stress..not sure though. I'll most likely get it checked out but for now I was just wondering. Thanks :)

I have this rash around my waste, it will NOT go away, and it looks horrible, on top of that, i will get random iches, in random places , in any time of the day or night, and i will ich it for one second, then this bite looking thing will come up, idk what is going on with me, this happens about every year at least 2 times a year [not the rash just the bite thing] and i just dont know what to do, i'm so fed up with it, until i can go to the doctor [in april..insurence...] i despriately need to do something. I am a teenager and of course I want to feel pretty and I want guys to notice me. I have lots of friends but I have never had a boyfriend because I have tons of hideous black acne scars on my face. I hate them and they hold me back because I feel insecure all the time, even around my close guy friends. Guys have come up to me and said, "I would definetly go out with you if you didnt have the stuff on your face." It's embarrasing and I've tried EVERYTHING! i have this topical gel things or w/e called erythromycin-benzoyl peroxide topical gel. I know i have to wash the area and dry it before i put this on BUT, how much and how much time after do i wash it of? i mean, its been sitting around, and i need to know some directions. someone help
