I had it pierced over 2 yrs and i took it out for a new job. A few days later this blackish mark appeared and it wont go away. I've went to a dermatologist and a piercer but they have never seen anything like it. It doesn't hurt and if i stick a needle in it nothing comes out. I dont know what else to do. Has anyone seen or heard of anything like this? Please help me!

Yes, but my idea comes somewhat late: do no piercing. These are the consequences. The best thing you can do now is to find a sympathetic Doctor to treat you. Inquire at the Dr's Office at the reception desk or ask the nurse if the Dr would be able to treat your condition and then describe your problem, and see if it is worth making an appointment. I wish you the best, and do not pierce any more and discourage others.

I really feel for you. My son had his nose pierced to, and eventually took it out. Although he doesn't have a black mark, he does have a significant scar. It sounds to me like you might just have a scar as well, although it might be darker in color. (Due to skin pigmentation) Try erythromycin gel. I used after I had significant acne scars due to a medication reaction. It worked really well. The only thing is...you may need a doctor's prescription. By the way, please do NOT pick or poke at it with the needle. You are risking getting yourself infected. Good luck!!!

For whatever reason it seems that you're stuck with the blemish. Maybe you should consult another doctor.

That's disgusting, just hope you don't get anymore piercings.
