You suffered a freezer burn, which is treated just like a burn from heat. If there is intense pain or blistering, you need medical attention. Once the burn is healed, the red mark will go away. But I think you should have a doctor look at it. The hand is a bad place to have a burn since you use your hand so much.

That sucks!!! Who suckered you into that trick. It's will heal Run cool water over the burn for about five minutes - it relieves pain and stop further damage to the tissues pretty effectively. If you think it needs bandaging, bandage the burn area but clean it with a very mild soap and water every day. Pat it dry, and make sure that unless you're rinsing the area that it's clean and sterile. If it gets infected, see a doctor. take care!

I use lavender oil for all types of burns- it works better than you'd think. My 3 year old son touched by iron and burned his fingertip and I just continued to layer lavender oil on it. It never scarred or blistered. If lavender oil isn't immediately at hand, try Solercaine or some other burn spray.

Haha, who tricked you into that one? Maybe put some aloe on it, and then you just have to wait. Try to trick another friend, though. That burn is something you have to pass on. maybe on april fools day?
