There is a product called jojoba oil that is 100% natural and comes from the jojoba plant. It closely mimics the sebum the skin produces. It's great for cleaning the skin and healing it.

I also agree with the jojoba oil answer. It's chemical structure is almost identical to sebum, so it is a good choice to work with human skin. It softens beautifully and is popular even with acne sufferers. It's found in many products, especially lip treatments, but you can also buy it on its own. I usually buy mine in the natural healthcare aisle at the grocery store.

Sweet almond oil is also a good choice for nails. And every house should really have an aloe plant. It's wonderfl to put on any skin injuries you might have. You can just crack off a bit of a leaf and smear it on.

Olive oil. If you mix olive oil sugar and lemon(to make a paste) and use as a scrub soooo good. I use it on hands body and face even the hair minus the sugar.

Drink adequate amounts of water, eat fresh fruit and vegies and don't smoke ciggies. Oh and don't sun tan either. That will do wonders for you skin.
