you can use anything that you find on the store shelves for athletes foot fungus. Ringworm is a fungus. I don't remember what the active ingredient it. But they all list ringworm on the back. Now, if the ringworm is on the scalp, it takes a whole different kind of medicine, it is oral and has to be prescribed by the doctor. The meds used on regular ringworms and ringworms on the scalp are totally different, a ringworm on the scalp will not go away with a topical cream.

I don't see how it would work to actually treat the ringworm. That's a corticosteroid, which relieves inflammation and can help with irritated or scaly skin. So it may relieve some of the symptoms temporarily. But ringworm is a fungal infection, and needs to be treated with an antifungal. Use a cream with Clotrimazole or Miconazole.
