I am 17, and up to around 16 y/o, I had very decent, clear skin. Now I am constantly in acne-woe. I wash my face with a gentle medicated cleanser twice a day, moisturize w/ an oil free moisturizer after cleansing. I get 9 hours of sleep a night and I never, ever wear any kind of facial makeup (only eye makeup). I'm doing everything right, aren't I? But I notice that whenever I'm on a diet (same diet as always, minus the sweets or fried food) - my skin clears up...but I am EXTREMELY miserable, irritable and grouchy unless I have something junk-y once a day just as a treat. But that seems to be breaking me out! I have all these red pimples, a few whiteheads ... worse, they're leaving red scars and crater marks! What to do?
