bad cold turned into prolonged cough

chronic headache
tooth ache.

I was supposed to be given Advair for my asthma, but I didn't want to go on it because I didn't want to gain any weight. Does Proventil cause increased appetite? Does regular albuterol cause weight gain?

I really don't understand this. I thought that all school aged children had to have a series of vaccinations which include dtp...I know my kids did. So how does something like this happen? Can someone still get pertussis even if they've had a vaccination for it?

After excersize, I always seem to be struggling to get oxygen inside my system. Like I'm having to breathe a lot more often to keep up with oxygen demands. I have not been diagnosed with asthma, however I think I have symptoms.

My B.M.I is normal and my general health is perfect.

Should I go and see my local GP?

I have had a bad, dry cough for the past week and a half....
I was taking a teaspoon of tussionex every night...usually that knocks the cough out right away, but it never worked.

I went to the doc today, she said I had bronchitis and prescribed codeine. I am still coughing.

I am getting worried. This has never happened before. Does anyone out there have this too? If so, what have you done? And please do NOT mention drinking hot drinks. I have enough hot tea inside my stomach to serve all of China.

I wake up in the middle of the night...not coughing, but my abdomen is contracting as in a cough. It is the strangest thing. My doc said that some coughs are just really bad, but I feel very frustrated. My husband came down with the same illness on the very same day...almost to the minute.

There really isn't much fever involved. The highest I had was 100.5.

I have a scratchy throat,and post nasal drip... but no stuffy nose.... and just today i noticed one tiny red spot on the back of my throat... i am a worry wort... and i was just hoping that some of your answers might help me to "relax" a little!

Got well into it recently whilst trying to give up smoking as i have a baby on the way. have been using a brand called ozone which is raspberry flavour i love it. My research suggests not as it is nicotine but as it is not burnt it is non toxic but surely putting the powder in your lungs ain't good?

How much should she be able to do without wearing the oxygen.? Her doctor wants her to wear it all the time. Sometimes she's fine without it for 30 minutes shopping. I need opinions and stories. They say she has pulminary fibrosis, or interstitial lung disease. Are the the same thing?

"My mom is very ill from both lungs, she can't breathe right and has a lot of mucus when she cough.What can she do to clean her lungs?One is better than the other one but she does not have cancer (THANK GOD) is any medicine up there to clean and get rid of that? I wake up in the morning and my chest hurts, not only that but when I climb stairs or do anything physical my heart races and I feel like I can't breathe. I am scared of smoking related diseases and feel like I want to quit but everytime I try to I go back to smoking more. Ex-smokers what did you do to quit, what made you want to quit and how do you stay smoke free. Please help me I feel so weak!
