I have asthma, but have not moved to Arizona. I don't think I would like such dry weather because usually in dry weather I get more allergies not less. But here is a little info I gathered while looking for your answer.

Although the dry air and heat will improve her asthma a bit. The going to Az To help with allergy'sand asthma has since gone out the window as the people from the east who have relocated there in the last 30 yrs have also relocated their plants and trees and grass.

You can get some relief depending on where you go. The populated areas that people initially moved to for the dry allergen free air is now polluted with pollen and plant matter from all of the yards that were installed after everyone moved in.

Asthma has no cure, some people are allergic -type asthmatics that will become allergic to any surroundings, in michigan we have several asthma assoc. that give excellent advice. Maybe your friend could join a group in your town, and possibly go on vacation in az. to see if that is what she's looking for.

There is no cure for asthma, but hopefully her symptoms would be much better in the warm, dry air.
