yes, thats what I have right now too, the red spot on the back of your throat is probably just irritation from the drip and coughage, when I look in mine I have the same thing too, it usualy comes and goes depending on how irritated my throat is.....I've had chronic sinus infections and tonsilitis since I was little, and the way I know something is always comming on is by the patch of red in my throat..it's probably just swollen blood vessels, if how ever it doesn't clear up you may want to go to a doc. you may need an antibiotic.

Sounds like a cold - strep or other throat infection involve a headache, and painful throat pain, headache, fever!

Just take some motrin/sudafed and rest.
Drink lots of clear fluid, warm tea and if you don't feel any better and your throat is worse call your doctor.

Otherwise some nasty colds going on 3 days coming, 3 days staying, 3 days leaving!

Those red spots are often inflamed lymph nodes...characteristic of a virus getting you.

I agree with the others...sounds like some version of a cold but given that it is in your chest already, this might be a viral bronchitis.

Lots of fluids, lots of rest.

I to worry alot lol
But sounds like a cold or so..
If lasts longer than a week or other symptoms occur don't hesitate to see a doc. But otherwise, it's prob simple cold that can be fixed with over counter meds.

It might be just the early stages of a cold. Try drinking lots of hot stuff and taking extra vitamin C.
