Hi,
My 2 sons have croup at the moment. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for relieving the cough. They are on oral steroids but they take about 24hours to take good effects apparently.

Thanks

i used to have asthma as a child, until age 6. never had an asthmatic attack. right now i feel totally normal in my daily life.

playing competitive sports, exercise and such are unaffected by asthma during the day. there is no inability to exercise.

but at nighttime, usually before i sleep around 12am, i will suddenly feel asthmatic. it becomes very hard to breath ( shortness of breath).

i would like to know what causes this, and how do i prevent it?

I dream of smoking most nights. Wake up happy as can be.
Sure do wish it wasn't so harmful. How lucky are those that have smoked for years with no ill effects.

I need to know from any pros out there if smoke on clothes causes some or all of the same effects as breathing in second hand smoke. It is important for a child with pulmonary problems.

I have the feeling that the regular 100mcg Ventolin is losing its effect. Mild-severe attacks that used to be managed by 2, 3 puffs at most now require 5, 6 puffs. I'm a bit scared, actually, that when push comes to shove, the stuff won't be enough. Also it feels it's all acting slower. What do you think this is about???

My son has chronic nosebleeds. We live in northern Ohio. He seems to do best in the middle of summer here. But I would like to know where in the good ole USA would be the ideal climate for him. Thanks!!
