My son has chronic nosebleeds. We live in northern Ohio. He seems to do best in the middle of summer here. But I would like to know where in the good ole USA would be the ideal climate for him. Thanks!!

Probably somewhere in the south where it's humid most of the time...

I know that in southern CA the Santa Anna winds cause
nose bleeds in some people - dry hot air.
Apparently the mucus membranes in the nose dry out
and break, it's happened both to me and my wife.
If this the same with your son, you can get a house humidifier
to bring up the humidity levels in the air of your house.
If you move you may choose a high humidity area like FL.
It's always good to get a professional medical opinion

I agree that a humid atmosphere would probably be best, but before you move--have you tried Flonase? My son had that, too, and we put him on Flonase for allergies and his nose quit the bleeds.

I'm not sure a more humid atmosphere would be better, though, because humidity=mold and if your child has any sensitivies allergy-wise, or asthma-wise, this may bother him.

It's pretty warm and humid on the gulf coast. I never get the chapped lips and dry skin of winter here. See how he does if you fly down for a week long vacation in March. Can't hurt. :-) It's beautiful here in March.

Moving because of nosebleeds is a bit extreme.

Have you taken him to a doctor? My son had nosebleeds & our doctor cauterized his nose. He had to do it twice, but it worked. Never had another one.............

An old "remedy" that i heard of: If you take a lead ball and drill a hole, and tie it around his neck, it should help with the nose bleeds. :)

Death Valley Cali

Where its dry and hot, and if a nose bleed occurred it would crust up immediately..
