1600’s, 1700’s, 1800’s, & 1900’s – Ongoing epidemics – These centuries saw epidemics throughout the world of malaria, yellow fever, dysentery, worm infestations, influenza, poliomyelitis, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, chlamydia, and plague to name a few. In 1918-1919, a terrible Spanish flu spread globally. It is estimated that this fast killer killed between 20 million and 50 million people globally (Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corporation, n.d, & PRAVDA, 2005). Influenza outbreaks also occurred in both 1957 and again in 1968.

diseases of all kinds have been with us since the first man/fish or whatever crawled out of the ocean, or since adam and eve were kicked out into the world. what has changed considerably is the ability to treat them. of course some new ones have come along in some altered form or another but basically nothing from outerspace has appeared that will neutralize the world in ten minutes.

TB( Tuberculosis), Malaria, Syphilis, Botulism, Rabies, Typhoid fever. These are all that I think of but, I'm sure there are others. I don't know of a website but, I guess my resource would be from what I learned in college.
