Is it possible for your sinuses to drain into your lungs, or do they just drain into your stomach?

I am not sure it is considered coughing. It is like... when you pull everything from the back of your throat to the front... like spit and stuff if your mouth is dry... etc... well, I also have a clogged nose and when I blow it nothing comes out. I suck in the mucus really hard then do that pulling thing... sorry if this sounds gross... then I spit out... A lot of the times it contains blood... just a small streaks usually, but sometimes it is about the size of... erm... um... the arrow key on your keyboard, the scablike... darker blood, followed by red blood in ever direction... spread out, about the size of a dime... a little less. But one time I also coughed up mucus and it was yellowish, no blood. Am I having a problem? How can I stop this? How long will it take? I've had my tonsils out and I do NOT want to not be able to eat because of cuts in my throat ;) Please help. Will this heal?

I started out with a sore throat and congestion. Then came the headache and coughing. Whenever I cough, my head really, really hurts. My eyes hurt and burn. I was up round the clock every 4 hours using inhalers. (taking Albuterol, Flovent, Flomax) for asthma. I'm now on the 3rd day of Azithromycin, generic for Zithromax. I have one more day. I don't see much change...still wheezing. I'm wondering about taking Tylenol for the headache pain? I had the flu shot, but must have missed it on this one.. I'm really struggling with being so sick. Any suggestions?

The Doctor said its nothing but a cold, no antibiotics were needed..after 2 weeks her cold went away she was still coughing a few times a day. We took her to the doctor two days ago of course because she was still coughing and the doctor listened to her lungs did a check up and said to give her flonase for her sinuses that it might be post nasel drip. For the past three days, she has used it once a day. The doctor said if she continues to could he would take x-rays of her sinus to see if there is an infection. Wouldn`t her nose be runny if there was a sinus infection, anyone have this same thing with their child. She has no fever, no runny nose..has lots of energy, etc..I know this is not the place for medical advice but I am worried and just wondering what it could be. Please be serious if you reply don't need someone saying go to the doctor 100 times. We are taking her again, just wanted some info. Thanks for everything... :)

instead of an "attack" or "episode" of breathing difficulties, it's constant, as in always, for the past week it's felt like i can't take in enough air, more like my airways are restricted. other than that i also have a slight mild cough, tickling in throat, phlegm in the throat, dizziness, lightheadedness nausea and a bit of chest pain. i have no wheezing when breathing through my mouth. i know it's easy to say allergies, but the MAIN problem is breathing problems, with dizziness/lightheadedness, and nausea. and i'm not sneezing whatsoever. it feels more like asthma, but without "attacks" and constant restriction, although it does get worse late night/early morning. i also have a nasty taste in my mouth often. if this were allergies, why do i not have sneezing, and if this were asthma why do i not have wheezing?

lastly i've already seen a doctor (no fever), and i've seen a hospital (chest xrays are normal) but this is getting a bit ridiculous..i'm losing sleep and feel like crap.
