My grandmothere was admited to the hospital with pneumonia and they decided to put her under the ventilator. My aunt and my grandmother are currently fighting. She is the nurse of the man who is my grandmothers doctor she has told the doctor that my grandmother is an alcoholic and she isn't. So, when they put her under to go on the ventilator they put her on ativan. Can it hurt her to be put on ativan when she isn't an alcoholic?

I have chronic sinusitis but everytime it flares up i feel pain in my inner ears, i mean if you took a line and drew it from my outside ear towards the inside of my head then the pain would be at the end of the line, it feels like an inner ear infection and it also feels like a hard ball of mucus above the back of the roof of my mouth and it hurts... is this normal?

Two and half years after having an operation for several collapsed lungs (all right side) i'm still in terrible pain and feel as if my breathing is limited.Get out of breath easily and feel as if one side of my body is very heavy.I have tried doing some excercise to strengthen my lung but just makes me sore and tired. I know after this operation i won't be 100% better but feel as if my consultant has not told me the true side-affects of this op anyone have any experience of this,i would like to hear from you all.Thanks

Hello, i never knew i had a snoring issue until i got married. My wife gets perfect sleep when im not in the room and gets little sleep when i am in the room. Ive tried a number of things for my snoring, from what my ENT told me i have a nasal septum issue and thats causing me to breath out of my mouth more than normal. So until i get that surgery is there anything else i can do for snoring. Ive tried antihistamines, ive tried nasal rinses, ive tried breath right strips, ive tried vicks rub, i dont know what else i can try but if theres anything else please tell me. thanks.

i woke up this moring and went today outside to smoke a cigarrett, i been smokin now for almost 4 years, i am 20 and i am 5'6 and way about 120 lbs (if that helps). ne way i caughed and i hurt my back in the upper rigth side, and whenever i enhale deep it hurts. what did i do??

Either my nose or my lungs ( I can't really tell which) is producing alot of mucus recently... I keep swallowing my mucus and it makes me hard to breathe sometimes. What is wrong with me? Can it be bronchitis? Or rhinitis? Please help me... Best answer gets 10 points!

well actually my lungs, im a 15 yr old girl, i dont have asthma or smoke r anything like that, but my lungs hurt all the time and hurt even worse when i breathe, i went to the doctors like a week ago because @ tht poiny it was hurting for 2 weeks, so it makes i 3 weeks now, but they did a pft, a breathing treatment, a shot incase it was an alergic reaction and chest x-rays, and they said everything looked okay, but its been a week sincee i went to the doctors and it has not gotten even the littleest bit better, like its exactally the same...what should i do, should i go to emergency, to the dr, or what???

im a fifteer year old girl, and i dont smoke, i dont have asthma, or anything like tht, but my chest/ lungs feel tight and hurt when i breathe, its been going on for about 3 weeks, i already went to the doctor, but they said i was fine, but it hasnt gotten better, the docter only did a few tests, like a pft, and a breathing treatment, and blood work, theres much more they could do, should i go back to the doctor because it hasnt improver or what should i do??

HE LEFT A LONG SCAR from under my r. nipple to the begining
