I also have chronic sinusitis & can relate to the symptoms you experience in your ears. The only other pain I also have is a really sore throat but only on the right side, to the point where it feels like I have a large stone in my throat when I swallow. (sinuses draining into my throat) I have to use a prescription nose spray when my sinusitis acts up & if I don't, my ears feel like they have knives in them. I have found that Sudafed Sinus (pink tablets) work great when I get those bad sinus headaches. If you have high blood pressure, you should stay away from them & get a prescription from your doctor. One thing that dawned on me a while back, is that my sinusitis bothers me most when there's a big change in "barometric pressure." You should see your doctor or ear, nose, & throat specialist for the pain in the roof of your mouth.

Your sinuses drain into your nose. The nose is connected to the throat, just like your mouth is. The eustachian tube is located at the back of your throat. It connects the throat with the inner ear.
When you swallow the snot and junk in your nose, some of it travels up the Eustachian tube and causes an infection. This is why you get a ear ache

There are couple of things you can do to prevent ear problems from sinusitis: use an expectorant to water down the mucus, so it drains properly - Mucinex works well; take a decongestant to open up the sinus cavities - Sudafed is a good choice; and last, drink a little extra fluids to keep the mucus as thin as possible.

You need to see an ear nose & throat doctor. The pain in your ear is from pressure building up in your ear from the eustatian tube being pinched shut by the swollen membranes in your sinuses. That hard lump may be a gland or an abcess. Better get it checked.

Just a few days ago my husband went to the doctor for the flu, and for pressure in the middle of his forehead. The pressure was from a sinus infection, and the pressure he had in his ears, similar to yours, was from an ear infection. My husband didn't think much of the pressure in his ears before he found out he had an infection in them. Maybe you are getting an ear-infection too. Get it checked out, because when inner ear infections get really bad, they can affect your hearing.

Yes!! It's VERY common to have severe ear pain with sinusitis.
When I had mine, my teeth also felt like they were rotton. It hurt so bad!! All that gunk in there is really putting alot of pressure on the inside of your head.

You bet. The infection has gone up your eustachean tube and into your ears.
The antibiotic you're on for your sinuses should clear this up, but if it doesn't, see your doctor.
