Go to the emergency dept of your local hospital. They will do a chest xray, the 1st step to determining what is wrong.

If they admit you for testing, fine! That's what you want! And you can ask for a pulmonologist.

Do this NOW. Life is too short to spend it feeling awful, and if this is life-threatening, your life WILL be short! I'm sorry to scare you, but I must! GO NOW!

I am sorry to hear that you are still having troubles. With the
surgery being 2 1/2 years ago, I am inclined to beleive that
this is an indication that you either need to see a different
doctor or go back to your current doctor and make them
understand that you are still in such pain. Sometimes
Doctors think that they have "cured" you and that the
pain is in the mind. BUT I know better. You are in pain and
you need someone to help you. I wish I knew more and
could help you... go back to the dr and demand a resolution
to your issues

BEST OF LUCK!

If I were u I would get a better doctor...possibly use a nebulizer
on an ongoing basis,..so your lungs will open up more and help
you to breathe easier. And you might wanna get an oxygen tank
to use, as nessecary. These things WILL help. I know, cause
my son had a collapsed lung, it was very serious, as your case.
He was treated with a nebulizer.. I use one also. But he's fine
now. Youv'e had surgery....go to another Doc. Good Luck..
