i have a cold and im hungry

Depends on the cause. If you have a viral infection it must run its course - antibiotics will not help.

If you have a bacterial infection, anitbiotics will help if you are not alergic to them and if you take the full course (NEVER stop taking them just because you feel better - you need to take the full prescribed dosage )

In the meantime motrin or aspirin or a similiar drub will reduce the swelling and give you a bit of relief.

as for the hungry part.. go get some soup. THe heat will actually help a bit.
