My dad had been ill for 4 days with a sickness and diarrhoea bug. He last ate on friday afternoon. He has tried to eat after that but it is coming straight back up. Is it normal for this to last this long? Im getting worried as he had lost 3/4 of a stone in weight.

The pain is constant and it worsened like two months ago. I have Kidney Stones last year and I use to have noticible bright orange sand in my urine all the time for years, specially when I drink beer, now I cant see any sand in my urine

My kidneys are very low functioning, and i have been strongly advised by my ob gyn and my nephrologist not to get pregnant because i will have a really hard pregnancy and end up with kidney failure. However, it is my decision, and they have both told me that they would work to help me do whatever I want. Do you think my husband and I can handle a baby while I am on dialysis? I've not done either before, is there any one out there who has?

is it possible for alcoholics to be hypochondriacs? and/or compulsive liars?

i have known someone for a long time and she periodically comes up with serious illnesses that never materialize! also over time she will lie about something and a while later forget she said it or repeat the same lie with different details

i don't live in the same city or country as her so it's easy for her to get away with what she tells me. i have also known her for a long time, so i know when what she is saying is a lie.

anyone have any information or personal experiences that could help me make sense of this?

I overheated due to dehydration while I was working this weekend and have had very little appetite since then. I have re-hydrated myself to the point where I'm urinating at least every 30-45 minutes, and I'm hungry, but I have very little appetite. When I do eat, it's not very much. Is this normal or is it something to be concerned about?

My father in law who is 67 has gone from being a normal person to being totally paranoid, delusional, can hardly do daily functions (brush teeth, shower, etc) in a couple days time. He hears voices, does not sleep. This has been going on for 3 weeks now. DR's did brain scan, and all other tests for brain problems, all came back fine. Did tests for encephalytis, alot of bloodwork, etc. All OK. They say vascular dementia... But how could something this severe happen overnight. He can not be left alone, cannot drive, comes up with absolutly crazy things he thinks are happening... Could some other condition be causing this..

I just came back from a camping trip. On the last day, my neighbor offered me a hamburger. I ate it... ever since I ate it I have had abdominal cramping, diarrhea and major nausea. I have a mixed sensation of hunger with nausea and I'm afraid to eat, however I need to. I realized soon afterward that she had arrived at the campsite 5 days before hand, and had it in a cooler of melted ice. I feel awful. I do not have medical insurance and cannot afford to go to a doctor. The closest medical facility in walking distance( I walk) is the Union Hospital.. which would cost me emergency room charges as well.. HELP! I want to order lunch so that I don't have an empty stomach, any suggestions?

I am interested in healing and have a book on medicinal plants and herbs, but now I need a book to tell me what the desieses and injuries are. They are very confusing, like carbuncles and epilepsy and it would really help if I could find out what they were.

My member has a somewhat downward and lateral curvature since childhood. Dirty movie stars do not have this, so regardless of what consolation people give, as an objective person I know I am in a suboptimal state. It does make me self-conscious so I figure I should intervene at some point to make it closer to what I want as a boost to self-esteem which can only be a good thing for me. There is a certain expectation a girl has when a guy removes his garments, so one may as well conform to that as closely as possible I think.

I've done things with a girl before but I suspect they may be improved if I undergo the aforementioned intervention. There is a procedure called plication which essentially cuts out the opposite part of the curve in order to straighten things out.

I do not want anyone finding out though, as it is awkward. That includes family and I am under their health insurance. Also I am wondering about recovery time. Has anyone done it or has any tips for me?

The macular degeneration makes it difficult for her to see a craft. She also has tremors which makes it difficult to do any handwork because of the shaking. I have signed her up to receive books on tape from the National Library. This helps but doesn't fulfill her need to participate in activities.

I am a 31 year old woman who is noticing bruises on my abdomen and torso area. I am on medications, lithuim, cymbalta and trazedone. I am wondering if any of these meds cause easy bruising. Someone told me it could be a sign of anemia, lukemia, or another blood disorder. Also, I have had a c-section but that was 10 years ago. I have little or no feeling in my abdomen area either. I do not know if that plays into this equation or not. Please give me your opinions on this. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow but I would just like some advice first.
