I am a 31 year old woman who is noticing bruises on my abdomen and torso area. I am on medications, lithuim, cymbalta and trazedone. I am wondering if any of these meds cause easy bruising. Someone told me it could be a sign of anemia, lukemia, or another blood disorder. Also, I have had a c-section but that was 10 years ago. I have little or no feeling in my abdomen area either. I do not know if that plays into this equation or not. Please give me your opinions on this. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow but I would just like some advice first.

Cymbalta is known to have a side effect of easy bruising so chances are, that is what is causing the bruising.
Please don't let people, who have no medical knowledge, scare you with their "diagnoses of anemia, leukemia, blood disorders" etc as most times, the explanation is far more simple and benign than that. Why people always have to assume the worst is beyond me.
