You should never just quit an anti-depressant cold turkey without your Dr.s consent. Call your OB tomorrow and tell them what's going on. It says on webmd.com that it "may harm an unborn baby", which means that you need to be careful with it. That having been said, I was on seizure meds. during my last pregnancy that can cause several different problems (spina bifida is a big one) with babies, and I was watched closely by a neonatal specialist, but kept on the medicine the whole time and my youngest is fine. So, go see a Dr as soon as you can (tell the appointment setter the problem and they will get you in quickly), but try to stay calm until then. I freaked out about it back then, but I had nothing to worry about, and you probably don't either.

You usually have to taper off any antidepressant. You should call the doc that prescribed it and tell them that you want to come off of it. Ask your gyn about it harming the baby.

Good luck with your pregnancy!

I would ask your doctor about that. Have you been yet? If so they usually require you to fill out a form of your information includin what medications you are taking. If you had to do that, and they didn't talk to you about it, I'm assuming it would be okay.

You have to call your doctor and ask him what he wants you to do. Only your doctor can tell you what he needs you to do.

you need to talk to your ob about this. you can't quit cold turkey. your doc has better info than we do. don't trust your baby to yahoo. congrats!

That's a question to ask your doctor, he should know you are on it.
