I have had a horrible headache off and on for about 3 weeks which would start when I would cough or strain in any way. The headache stayed for two days in which I tried imitrex (I have had migraines for 3 years now), heat, ice and advil. I went to the walk in clinic and they sent me to the er for test in which they did a ct scan which showed all of the sinus cavities inflammed i guess. the doctor mentioned something about a sinus cavity located deep inside your head was causing me pain. I was in the worse pain ever and i havehad migrianes and kidney stones. he gave amoxicillan, steriod pack and percocet for pain. I have had no other sinus symptoms besides pain and pressure like drainge, cough, or ear and throat pain like I usally experience with a sinus infection. Is this a normal sinus headache? WIll I experience drainage after the pressure goes away? My biggest question is what are the chances I will have this again?

It's almost like I get the flu or something every night, I get nauseated, high fever, fatigue every night and then it breaks in a heavy sweat in the middle of the night? What could this possibly be, I have not had much of an appetite for about a week either.

couldnt sleep. her mother suggested she went to the hospital or a doctor and she did. when she got there, it seems, she started attacking people and yelling out, just gonig nuts, so they restrained and sedated her. shes been in the hospital since. at first she could respond somewhat to others, but would have her "episodes", as if someone else were there, just out of the norm acting. now she jsut bites her lip and can barley open her eyes. she cant walk on her own and can barley speak. she has to wear a diaper. there is a history of schitzophrenia in her family. any know what it could be? female, early 20's

have been getting these really really bad headaches that get so bad that i feel like i need to hold my head really tight or my head is going to exsplode (lol i know thats a really weird way of putting it but thats how they feel) and once and a while i get this really weird feeling in the back of my head like rite behind my ears on my scalp, and its like a tingeling numbness, and it usually goes away with in about 30 secounds and i only get it once and a while, and latley i have been getting the headaches almost 2 or 3 times a week, and i take extra strength tylenol, and it dosent seem to work...also latley i have been feeling extremley tired all the time. Does anyone know what this could all mean?? i was thinking maybe migranies, or tension head aches, but i dont know if its something more serious i should go to the doctor for imediatly

**by the way if you look on my past questions I AM NOT pregnant this isnt my account im on my friends account so its not due to pregnancy**

My brother is diagnosed with kidney failure. He has an identical twin who could be an ideal donor. How much will it cost us to have a transplant? What are his chances of survival? Thanks...

I was recently diagnosed with it-I understand it is asymptom not a condition. I've read it could be alcohol related- hepatitus- CANCER- too much iron- lukemia- OMG!

I had to go to the doctor because of a urinary track infection and he said one of causes was because I had been drinking to much water. Sometimes I drink 8, 8oz's a day or sometimes 6. I start drinking my water at appox. 4:00pm until 8:00 pm. Just curious if anyone else has heard of this?

it has happened everytime I have pooped from thursday night to today.
I've had really bad stomach aches, and was hoping it was my period when I saw blood in the toilet but it wasn't.
I missed my period this month, and now bloody stools.

I'm worried something serious could be wrong with me.

I was diagnosed with a Hyperactive Thyroid Gland when I was 14...

Had periods of frustration and not wanting to take the medication.. So, I was on and off the Carbimazole.... I suppose it was a juvinile way of not wanting to admit to myself that I had to rely on the medication...

Apparently, doing this - prolonged periods of not taking the medication can

1) Damage your heart

2) Kill the muscles in your legs...??

My Doctor tells me the problem is now under control, but actually, now, when I do long distance walks (with a back pack on) I get severe cramps and extreme pain in my legs that I cannot continue walking.....!!!! Sometimes I can't feel my legs at all!!

What's happening there..??

Is it related to the past problem / not taking medication for Hyperactive Thyroid Gland..???

Cheers.

B.

I was semi-diagnosed this past Friday with gallstones. I have an appointment this coming Thursday with a gastroenterologist to have an ultrasound of my gallbladder. I've done some research, and am finding conflicting information as to the symptoms of gallstones. One site says one thing, one site says another. Anyone out there who suffers with biliary colic? Does it actually cause belching, passing gas, indigstion-like feelings, abdominal bloating or not? I'm just curious, as this is what I'm having. Wish my appt. with the gastro. was sooner, but it's not. :( Any advise/references are greatly welcome. Thanks!

P.S. If you did have gallstones, what was your outcome? (Surgery, drugs to dissolve them, etc.)

I have no symptoms of liver problems other than my right side hurts, this hurt about 3 months ago and they did 2 blood work ups and an ultrasound on my liver. They all came back good and found no problems. I have no light stools, dark urine, I'm not yellow, my side just hurts. I don't have a gallbladder it was removed around 5 years ago. So could this still be my liver, or where my gallbladder was or just muscles. It did go away for quite a while. I am just wondering because I am pregnant. Before I became pregnant I was a weekend drinker but that didn't make the pain worse, I am only 26 and don't think it could be my liver, who knows.
