I have had a horrible headache off and on for about 3 weeks which would start when I would cough or strain in any way. The headache stayed for two days in which I tried imitrex (I have had migraines for 3 years now), heat, ice and advil. I went to the walk in clinic and they sent me to the er for test in which they did a ct scan which showed all of the sinus cavities inflammed i guess. the doctor mentioned something about a sinus cavity located deep inside your head was causing me pain. I was in the worse pain ever and i havehad migrianes and kidney stones. he gave amoxicillan, steriod pack and percocet for pain. I have had no other sinus symptoms besides pain and pressure like drainge, cough, or ear and throat pain like I usally experience with a sinus infection. Is this a normal sinus headache? WIll I experience drainage after the pressure goes away? My biggest question is what are the chances I will have this again?

I would try a saline nasal rinse (not a spray.) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot.

it would desire to be sinus, try this, it won't harm you no remember if it is not a sinus an infection and would desire to o.k. help.the only issues that truly helped me became while my Dr. informed me a pair of sinus wash which will kill bacteria. you prefer distilled water sea salt liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the well being foodstuff save. in a pitcher combination a million/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to physique temperature. upload 5 drops each and each silver and chlorophyll and combine. utilising a extensive dropper (like one used for toddler medicine) drop 2 finished droppersfull into one element of the nostril whilst laying down. turn the pinnacle and permit it drain out the different nostril. be valuable to have paper towels obtainable. The silver kills the bacteria and there are various hundred form which could stay interior the sinus cavities and anti biotics do no longer do away with all of them. try this two times an afternoon for a week, mixing up the aggregate clean each and every time. Then do it as quickly as a week for maintenance. there is not any longer something in this which will harm you, and it cured me. i do no longer would desire to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore. ultimate needs

If all of the infection is gone from your sinuses from taking the Amoxicillan and steroid pack, then it should not have any bearing on you getting this again.
I don't think you will still have drainage after the pressure goes away. Get Better!

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
