I was expecting an important call, the phone rang and I grabbed it quickly. It was not who I expected (so idk if this is Bloo Press. related, never had BP problems b4) but all of a sudden my left eye developed a bright rainbow snake like floater off to the left of my vision. It blurred my vision slightly, especially the left periferal vision. IT lasted about 10mins and now I have a sharp headache in my right temple/eye socket. Anyone have a similar experience or is a health pro. who might know the cause. I called my dr. still waiting to hear back.

I have been suffering from back pain and pain from two spinal surgeries. I have tried all kinds of pain meds and physical therapy, etc. I just want everyone who has back pain like this that I have finally found relief from my doctor. It's a drug for epilepsy and nerve pain called "Neurontin" (generic is Gabapentin) and it took 99% of my back pain away! It is a miracle! So, if anyone is suffering from pain like this, please ask your doctor if you can try it. It has changed my life! I just had to put this out there to see if I can help anyone who has pain like me!

My bloodwork for my liver came back abnormal. No cerrhosis. I am a 40 year old female and have been a drinker since I was a teenager. I realize that drinking this much is a problem in itself, but my question is if drinking vodka (occasionally) will hurt me more or less than beer. Thank you!

Once in a while (about every other month or so) I will start feeling horrible; I get chills and start to sweat all over. Then, after a few minutes I will feel very weak and nauseous. I usually go lay down and about a half hour later I feel my abdomen tighten up. It’s always on the left side, below my rib cage. It feels like its being twisted. Then I actually Hear and Feel the bowl unjam. Within the next hour I have a regular BM and feel fine. Is it normal to get this kind of "bottle neck" feeling in your intestines?

I also had swelling in my upper lip for a little while yesterday morning...I have a headache that will not go away, and my right wrist (I am right handed) seems to be weak. It hurts with the weakness. I am exhausted; however I feel fine and steady (maybe that is mind over matter) I also find that my eyes are slightly tender or itch when touching the lid. I do not understand what is happening. I will grant you this information: I have a slight struggle with bulimia so if you think that is related in someone please tell me, and grant me the resources you found this in...thankyou very much. ~Loretta

Ok so one of my friends and I smoke marijuana once every month or two. I have this other friend who had a kidney transplant in 6th grade (We're in 10th now), and he said he wanted to try it with us. The question is, if he tried it with us, would he fall on the floor and die? I don't want him to do it if it will hurt him. Right now he's taking some anti-rejection medications.

Thanks,
Justin

Is it possible for some one to have an inner sense that stops other people from communicating with them. I know a perfectly normal person that a lot of people will not have any thing to do with as if there is some invisible source saying don't have any thing to do with this person

hi i was given a tb skin test shot and for some reason it became positive could be the reaction or something. my chest Xrays came negative (no active tb) i went to my local MD and he prescribed me Isoniazid 100mg for 6 months. but the side effects of this medicine were bad such as heartburn, dihrea, nausea etc. and i quit the medicine 13 days before in other hand i took it for 5 and half month which mean i didnt complete the its course. i went back to my MD and he got little mad at me for not completing the medicine but didnt mention anything else. so now i am little worried and concerned if i should start it over? i am pretty sure the bacteria if theres any might have become resitant to INH antibiotic. now what can i do? should i take isoniazid INH for long period of time again or should i go for diffrent type of antibiotic. i researched alot but it seems like there is only one antibiotic which is isoniazid that can eliminate the inactive bacteria of tb. any suggestions?
thanks.

I began having stomach pains yesterday - pain located centrally under the ribcage and feeling like cramps. The pains come and go but seem to be aggravated by movement. I have no sickness but did have a bout of diarrhoea this morning. Is this likely to be gastroenteritis or something more sinister? Should I be trying to eat or not - I don't really have any appetite at the moment...

Well I am on day 17 of antibiotics and still have facial pressure and my face is hot and a bit of nasal drip. I am also on a prescription decongestant that is the size of a horse pill. I am currently taking a new Augmention that is 2 twice a day for 10 days. After I started taking it I actually felt worse last week. So I don't know if it is doing anything. I hate all these antibiotics!!!! This started last August and I did a couple rounds of antibiotics and then freaked out and didn't get anymore and perhaps that is why I am still having problems not sure. Then I had a flare up again in November and was on antibiotics and then called and said I wasn't 100% but the nurse said try something OTC and humidifier. Then in January until now I am having the same problems again. It starts out chills and pressure and becomes so much nasal drip that I get really sick from that and my head gets so hot. This weekend my glands were swollen and my nose was running like crazy.... Any suggestions?

My mum is 55 and for a few years now she has been really suffering with arthritis. She mainly has it in her knees and feet but the other day her left hand was very painful and swollen and she had trouble picking things up. Shes putting on a brave face but i know shes very worried about her future and what effect it will have. She dreads being in a wheel chair or in pain as she has always led a very healthy, active life. So, i thought i'd put it out to you guys and ask for any info that you know about it, like what can irritate it, natural preventation/relief etc.. we're trying to avoid conventional medicines for as long as poss so i am trying to get as much internet based info as poss. Thanks everyone!
