I used to get these all the time and I still get them now and again. The best thing to help them for me was to breath deeply and count. So I breath in for 5 seconds and hold for 5 and then breath out for 5 seconds. I guess the breathing for me slowed everything down and because you are also counting you kinda focus on that instead of panicking. This is how I got over them or get over them but different things work for other people and it may be realising why you panic

Go to GP and ask him to prescribe ESCITALOPRAM the common name is .CIPRALEX I suffered panic attacks cognitive treatment because i did not want to go on meds but did not work 4 me but my GP in the end said give it a try and i did never had a pnic attack since i do not get ant side affects thy do not make u drowsy just 1 a day it takes about 6 weeks to kick in but its worth it. good luck

Breathing into a paper bag helps,by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide and increasing your oxygen intake,keep doing this until feeling passes.

practice when you are not stresssed
clench your fists, scowl hard and tense up all over
then slowly count down from 5 and let the tension out - you will know what it feels like to be tense and also how it feels to be fully relaxed
make your breathing work for you

Drink plenty of water. Stay away from caffinated drinks. Breath deeply with your stomache. Try meditation if you can
