There's a strange, pus-like liquid leaking out of my belly button, and I'm not quite sure what to do about it. I can't go to the doctor about it, so is there anyone that has experienced this as well and can tell me what to do?

If you've had your bellybutton pierced it sounds like you have an infection.Whether you do or not this might work. Use an antibacterial soap, wash well-don't scrub, dry with a hair dryer on low make sure you get all of the moisture out. Use an over the counter antibiotic cream or ointment at least twice a day. Change your underwear everyday or if you don't wear any or wear low rise undies change your pants everyday. If the drying and antibiotic cream don't seem to help in 3-5 days you might have to see a doctor for some antibiotic pills.
Try not to get overheated.Sweat can be nasty, it can lead to a fungal infection in which case you can tell if you smell a bit like fresh bread. Do the same washing and drying but use an over the counter medication for vaginal yeast infections.Do not use antibiotic cream on a yeast infection.

This liquid - i will bet that it has a funny smell to it - amd I right? Yes... Thought so.

This is sweat and soap mixed together.

Have a shower - make sure you wash well - but dont poke too much.

Towel dry PROPERLY. Then talc your belly button.

Try losing a little weight also if over weight. Sounds harsh i know, but when the belly botton is covered nonstop it will sweat more.

And yes, I have had this problem before and that is exactly what i did.

You'll need to get a couple sutures in your belly button. The liquid is coming from your stomach. This happened to my roomate once upon a time. Get to the doctor's though. You don't want to introduce bacteria into the stomach by leaving the problem unattended to. You'll be facing a whole new set of problems then.

You have an infection. You need to clean it out well with a alcohol soaked q-tip until it is clean. Put some antibiotic cream in it. Clean it good in the shower everyday and repeat the above everyday until its healed.

If it's kinda thick and yellow or green you have to see a doctor. That means it's infected.
