I just recovered from a 72 hour respitory infection which included fevers up to 102.5. The fevers broke and came back about 5 times over those 72 hours. I still have the infection but not the fevers. After the fevers broke each time I was seeing 98.4-98.7 temp. Now its been 12 hours since the last fever broke but my temp is down to 96.5-97 and I'm feeling hot. Why the low temp? Why am I still feeling hot? ( I have seen the doctor and I dont believe my low temp is very serious, I'm just curious why)

Do you experience all of the symptoms all of the time with hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) Or is it possible in the early stages to have only some of the symptoms on and off?

I woke up yesterday with very swollen lips, then they went down within a few hours. I had gone to the doctors and they said they just thought it was herpes, but then I woke up again this morning and they were very swollen again. Is there anything else that this could possibly be? Several of my friends already get cold sores and they don't think that this is what mine looks like.

I just started having it 3 years ago or so and started having them at 44 yrs old... My older brother just started having them at 47 yrs old. I had a video eeg done, something on the left side of my brain causing them, they don't know why my brother gets them. We both get up to Grand Mal seizures. I'm still working on getting the right meds, with the least side effects.
I just wanted to know how are you handling them?
I'm still scared of my seizures, I have terribly frightening ones, and still having trouble with the meds.

I asked this in the Marriage section and everyone said-just take the pastries and say thank you and explain to him nicely that this stuff makes you sick.

I have a painful disease that has caused me to gain weight and I am supposed to stay away from bad foods that irritate the disease (-sugar, dairy, chocolate, processed) so what does my husband buy me for V-day? (and B-day, and Xmas)-yup, bad food. Then when I get upset he says it was a special day. Except he buys it all the time.

Monday he bought cookies and candy because I was going on a business trip and might need energy.

Saturday night he asked me out for "date night" and took me to pizza. Its always something. He is quite overweight BTW.

Anyway, the way he couches these "gifts" it makes me feel like a jerk.

This morning when he presented me with a card and a huge box of pastries I said "Please don't do this to me" and he started yelling and said "No You don't do this to me!"

I have been on Seroquel for about 2 years. For the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing jerky involuntary movements throughout my body. This has only occured when sitting or lying down. Sometimes the jerks are so strong my legs will kick up a little or my hand will raise. Doctor thinks it's Seroquel, took me off yesterday.
