For some reason I feel super tired all the time. I got 7 hours of sleep but feel like I could sleep until late afternoon. What is my problem?

How old or young are you? What climate do you live in? What are your daily activities? Do you walk, run, swim, or lift weights? How many pounds or kilograms do you weigh? Do you use caffeine, alcohol, or other drugs? Do you drink or eat much sugary or sweet things? Are you getting a nutritional balanced diet? Are you failing to get enough proteins, e.g. are you a vegan or anorexic, bulemic?

You had better address this question to your doctor or registered nurse, or physician's assistant (PA). Do not delay this, but rather, go see them and keep searching till you find the answer.

The amount of sleep each person needs is different. Some people can survive with only two or three hours per night. Others need nine or ten! There is nothing wrong with you if you need more sleep. You should listen to your bodies signals and sleep more if that is what it requires. You can try to take pills or drink Red Bull but you are just fighting your own body and eventually you will pay the price with your health.

You could try getting 8 hours instead of 7.

Are you getting enough water? Sometimes dehydration leads to fatigue. So do some nutritional deficiencies.

Perhaps you could try some gentle exercises or a brisk walk to help energize you.

If none of the above work, see a doctor: You might have something else going on.

Pregnant, haven't had enough water, mono, exhaustion, stress, could be anything!

maybe not excercising enough causes you to sleep less but your body wants to sleep more.
