Symptoms, as of right now, my legs are in CONSTANT pain, numbness, blue cold, and pale, inability to move, constant shaking when bending my knee. Mind you I've NEVER had leg problems. it just started Monday night and is gradually getting worse. My friends are afraid of blood clots and or some serious symptom. Does this sound like something along those lines?

when i sleep everyone tells me that i don't snore, i just gasp for almost every breath and it seems like i have trouble breathing. i do have asthma but it's usually just when i do sports. i've tried breath right strips and they didn't help at all. i do yawn a lot through the day and i wonder if it's just that i have weak lungs. though one time i went to get my breath checked and the dr. told me that i have strong lungs but that was awhile over a year ago. i was just wondering if there was something that i could do to stop my "snoring" because it's always embarrassing it i fall asleep at sleepovers and people make fun of me because of how loud i sleep. i just don't want to fall asleep in class and get completely embarrassed at how weird my breathing sounds when i sleep. what do i do?

Are there any statistics kept on the prevelance of Hemiplegic migraine syndrome either familial or sporadic (I am guessing FHM would be easier as it is more throughly researched). I understand it is very rare- it is not even indexed as a rare disease! I cannot find any organisation focused on it or any migraine variant really. I have been having a HM for about a week and a half, at first they thought I had a stroke and then multiple sclerosis but nope nope- just an awful migraine that's disabled half of my body and put me on a cane! I've had them before, to a lesser degree and never thought anything about it... Anyway, any info beyond the basics I've already found with google would be helpful

for a few months or so, I find that I often feel it difficult to breathe...in that I often (more than I should) get the urge to yawn, you know that feeling where you can't get a yawn out? Well, I feel like that many times throughout the day. What is this? Should I be seeing a doctor? Am I having panic attacks? I am starting to become really stressed out about it...please help!

I got an MRI saying that I have bone marrow edema in the distal tibia, in the talus, anterior calcaneus and the navicular. Does anyone know if this can go away on its own or what treatments may be?

Okay first of all I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 8 years old; I have never gotten any treatment. My mom also took me to the doctor for OCD or tourettes syndrome. She tends to think there is a lot wrong with me. But I do think that there is something not quite right, but I'm not sure what. I am 13 female and I have done a lot of research on me mental disorders, but I can't really find any thing that describes me. It is very well possible that there is nothing wrong with me and I'm just a bit of a hypercandreat (sp?). Here are some "symptoms:"

Physical:

Increased heartbeat (or it feels like it, I also have and irregular heartbeat, witch might contribute to this.)

Sweaty palms

Weird breathing (short of breath, deep, find it hard to get a breath.)

Mental "symptoms:"

Hyper

Unorganized thoughts/feelings

Impulsive

Feel the need to do certain things (ex. run my hand down my nose, Rub me wrist together, and yes I am aware that I'm doing this, and can control it

I come from a family of smokers and alcoholics. I myself never plan on becoming one, I've already lost a grandmother from lung cancer. I know the effects of smoking and alcohol and how addicting it is, not to mention how stubborn my family is. I want to try and get some of them to quit, but they're all stubborn. Seeing how the majority of them have been smoking and drinking over 15 years, i need a way to get throgh to them, or else im worried i will lose more and more relatives from disease. I come from a very big and close family and id like to keep it that way.

I know it's strange, but anything to do with the circulatory system-- the heart, veins, arteries, etc., if someone goes into detail about it I'll get faint, and pass out if I dont get away from it. The same occurs when I'm getting needles, even my blood pressure taken.

I've always been very interested with how the body works, and I can study and discuss in depth anything else, like the digestive system, reproductive, nervous system, etc. It seems like as soon as a blood vessel or something along that line is mentioned though I become very weak and will faint.

I've always just delt with it, as I know it will happen. The circulatory system I don't consider to be a phobia or anything like that. I feel like my mind can be interested in topics that pertain to the circulatory system, but my body just reacts on it's own. I know this isn't nesessarily what's happening, that's just how it feels to me.

Does anyone else have a similar problem, or know more about this?

For a couple of weeks I have felt a lump in my throat- sort of close to the tongue. It moves around occasionally. Sometimes it feels itchy. I have also noticed large red bumps on the back of my tongue that haven't always been there- swollen tastebuds, perhaps? It does feel like there's something stuck in my throat. Also, my throat and neck are a little hard and stiff. However, it has not been extremely sore- a little dry, maybe- and I have had no difficulty swallowing. Anyone know what this could be?

I kind of lean towards possible allergies, which I have a problem with when the weather changes, but I'm afraid it MIGHT be something more serious- maybe a growth of some sort? I have had my tonsils and adenoids removed, by the way.
