Listen love, I understand just how rough life can be becasue I went through everything that you just discribed. Highschool is one of those times in life when you realise just who your real friends are and it will be hard but I will garuntee you that you are going to loose some. Everyone changes in some way or another in their sophmoore year and usually not for the better because they think that they are older and can do a ton more stuff, ie being a sl*t. What you need to do is start eating for #1. Becoming anorexic isn't going to get you the attention that you want/need, it's going to get you negitive attention and make your whole situation worse. Have you thought about joining an afterschool club? That's a pretty good way to meet people and by the sounds of it, you need to meet more and ditch your old friends because they are in no way good for you. Anyways, I hope I helped a little and make sure you look through your opions and please please please start eating again...a good friend of mine died from anorexia :( If you wanna talk more just message me :)

you are wasting your time and emotional energy, don't buy into the BS she is having so much fun at everyones expence by manipulation and self destruction, this drama will never ever stop the best thing to do is separate yourself from it b/c when you get mad and tell her to stop you are feeding the demons that are telling her to do these things, there is so much suffering and starvation in this world how can she be so damn selfish to take away your feelings of concern and say F U right to your face even if you told her this she will never understand it, all she wants is for people to tell her she is skinny and have people fell sorry for her, life is way too short to be spent on someone who is just using you

Notify her and your parents of your concerns. Also, the counselors at the school. You can do this anonymously. In addition to that you can keep giving her hugs and telling her things such as . . . "I'm glad we're friends", compliment something about her, ask her to help you with a concern (make up something such as your cat or studies at school), etc. Conversations as this will convey to her that she is valued, noticed, appreciated . . . which I think in part is the 'problem' with anorexic people. Help 'hug' her heart and hopefully a healthy body will follow. Stay away from negative or judgment conversation...focus on the positive and / or seek her 'help' with something for you. If she says things such as " Do you think I'm too skinny / fat ?" Answer with, I am concerned about you, but right now I mostly just want to focus on that your my friend and I'm happy for that. She really truly already knows what is going on. . . keep hugging her soul heart. Let the adults in her life help her, keep them posted of what you can. Surround yourself with those who will help you of your goal . . . which, in this case, is helping your friend. Warm wishes to you.

I don't see what can be fun about starving. I mean, hunger hurts. Well, you could try shoving food down her mouth. You may have to get some friends to hold her down while you do that.

If you can't talk to her, then tell someone. Her parents, some adult that you think can help.
I just saw a tv program yesterday about this, and these girls we lots older then 14 and they couldn't do it on their own. I think you're courageous for wanting to help her, please try!

Go to ala-teen for co-dependency issues
Refuse to laugh it iff, be blunt and tell her she has a problem and you aren't going to stand by and watch her kill herself
Pray
And yes, tell her parents and your own.

I know you don't want to seem like a "NARC" but,you should talk to her parents and let them know what's going on...so, maybe they can get her back in treatment.
