I was told it was not life-threatening, more of an annoyance, and told to visit an ENT. i have persistant ringing in the ears, and weird sensations in my head. Had a brain MRI, that showed no tumors etc... only this artery abnormality.

I wear glasses and contacts and lately my eyes are very red and veiny. They don't itch or burn, they are just red. I stopped wearing my contacts as much, however, it has made no difference. I went to the eye doctor and they said there is nothing they can do and that I have dead cells on my eyes. They gave me systane drops but they didnt work. Visine does not work either. I do work at a computer, however, I have been for years and this just started a few months ago. I am a very healthy person as well. I exercise 5 times a week and eat very healthy.

for example, we test blood for tc, dc, esr etc, etc. on blood report it is being mention as units. Again we have to go to physian to veryfy wheather it is high or low.
so, if we can know the standard unit for an adult, may be helpful.

I started experiencing brief bouts (lasting three minutes) of vertigo. I experience these bouts sometimes once a week and other times two or three times a week. Recently as well I have been hearing a high pitched ringing in my ear or head that seems to come from the left side of the back of my head.

People have a wrong idea of what Vertigo is. It is a condition that is all in the head. It starts with fluid or something in the inner ear that prevents the mechanism for balance to work properly! I have vertigo and can tell you it's like some hitting you with a brick when that PANG of dizziness hits you! I've been hospitalized for it, nausea, hyperventilating... It's not pleasant! By the way, Allegra is the preventative cure for Vertigo! It dries up the area that causes the problem... No one should have to suffer with periodic dizzy attacks that prevent them from living a normal happy life! I put this out there because lately I've run into more and more people who have this problem. A simple non-drowsy anti-histamine is all you need!

The last time I gave blood, I felt wiped out for 2 or 3 days afterwards. That was spur of the moment giving--I hadn't planned on it, but did so when I found out that my gym was having a blood drive.
This time I know far in advance, and would like some tips on what to do or eat in the days before donating so that I'm not as wiped out afterwards.
Thanks!

Hello,

I am 25 yrs old female, and i wet bet in nights unconsciously, is there any easy solution to get rid of this???

I have not gone through any diagnosis. As i feel shy.

Once i went to a doctor, but there she gave me some antibiotics.

But i did not found any solution.

I don't get any bad or horrible dreams too. But sometimes i observe that, when i am very depressed, i wet my bed in nights. but if i sleep for some 5hrs continuosly in day time, i never do this. This happens with me in only night times. I have this problem since from my childhood.

Please tell me any good solution. I don't want to go to doctor. I am a software Engineer.

Thank you

He started with a fever on Friday 11/10. We took him to the doctor on Monday11/13, because it had been more than 3 days. He had a congested cough for over a week before the fever showed up. The dr. said that fevers show up at the beginning of an illness, so that is strange to him that it came after the cough. Also, he said that you don't catch 2 things at once. He put him on antibiotics, just in case.

Now it is Thursday, and he still has the fever. It will go down with Tylenol, and he feels and acts much better, but it keeps coming back. He also has not had much of an appetite since Friday. Not even for girl scout cookies or Halloween candy.

The only other symptoms are mild. He's not to specific, and they are not there all the time. He complains of a headache, and belly ache. The headache is probably just from lying around, and the belly is probably hungry.

We're off to the dr. again today, but I just wondered if anyone else had an opinion. Thanks!
